  1. Just watch out for those weird ass hook turns you have to do in the city, or when ever you turn right over tram tracks. Very large trap for young players
  2. Dude - you would be much better off asking everyone to let you know when their local area is having a bulk rubbish collection. I am currently in the middle of an old dragster frame rebuild and about 75% of my parts are all from council roadside collections. PS Anyone know any good sandblast/powdercoat places?
  3. Depends a LOT on where you are too. Here in WA we only get 2-3 types of 98RON fuel, but seeing as though there is only 1 cracking tower (refinery capable of producing 98RON fuel) in the entire state, its kinda a moot point. The only difference in them is a few detergents and stuff blended in that have no effect on the RON. Having said that though, its kinda interesting that while both U98 (BP) and V98 (Vortex) come from the same refinery, and are both quoted as 98RON, they both have different MON ratings..... At the end of the day, its all about the SOTP dyno results. I only use 98RON in Teh Fury because km per litre its the most efficient (ergo cheaper)
  4. LOL it means he has a diff and suspension that would reduce his kidneys to something resembling a sultana before he got 20kms (For The Mother f**king Lose)
  5. +11ty the road from Bridgetown to Donelly River is still one of my alltime favourites. AND you can get some awesome cheese and wine (and mushrooms ) on the way home
  6. +11ty *faps*
  7. Still, its better than the HJ kingswood here in Perth with an RB20 in it. If its at the show this weekend I will get some pics and post them up. (do you think the muzzy belongs to the chipmunk in your avatar?)
  8. For the love of god please dont use copper ANYTHING when mounting brakes on a car. Copper does a thing called "work hardening" where the longer it is under pressure, the more brittle it becomes. In the case of a brake calliper, I am talking seriously brittle here, where it will get to the point of shattering. The only way to avoid this is through annealing and this would involve removing the callipers every few thousand km's for heat treatment. Either use a steel sleeve, or drill and tap the mounting lugs on the upright to suit the R33 bolts.
  9. epic, epic lulz
  10. *preens* Oh, wait.....
  11. Just spiffing. Mind you, it may be the muscletech talking.
  12. so is malamine just sayin -_-
  13. http://www.myspace.com/mattgresham saw this guy live at the freo arts centre a few weeks ago, after I went there for something entirely unrelated, and not being a huge live music fan, I was hella suprised at how much I enjoyed it, We ended up staying for both sets and bought 2 CD's on my way out the gate, so if you like roots, blues and reggae, check him out. Kinda sounds to me like John Butler and Ben Harpers love child, but a lot more individual than that. and go see him live if you get the chance!
  14. I love you man
  15. Get your hands on VL starter motor - it sounds like the armateur is "poling" What happens is, the bushes at either end flog out over time, and reach a point where, when charge is applied, the shaft kicks diagonal and jams (henc belting it sometimes knocks it loose and allows it to start spinning) By the time this has happened, usually the brushes etc will be stuffed as well so replace/rebuild is the only option (this would show up on the consult as an ign problem because it overcooks the relay)
  16. Nah - thats a sticker found on a lot of RS's something about a functional yet comfortable touring wagon. Its like a set of mats I saw on ebay a while ago. It had (stitched into the mats) Pulsar Feel the beat (lets drive) with more enjoyment as our feelings dictate. They rocked, but some fool paid almost $400 for them and I didn't like them THAT much. I really wanna know what it says now I bet it was something damn funneh.
  17. Have a look in the NSW section of the forum, and there will be some workshops suggested by the club. Some of them should offer vehicle inspection reports (for a fee, of course) as this really isn't the sort of car you would trust to the RAC (V?) or similar. They will need to know what they are looking at.
  18. LOL just for my kids. I'm not organising one. *imagines Teh Fury being followed by eleventy million skyrines* *shudders* Not really - most of the streets I have found in the past get packed out, and trying to navigate a cruise through them wouldn't win us many friends.
  19. So, I am thinking of doing a family cruise to look at all teh purty lights, so if you have any impressive displays in your suburb, post em up so others can share teh lurve. Stuff like this would be cool... Kthnx
  20. W T F ? Man, that things is Ugly with a capital "Ug!!!" Could the have possibly messed up that C pillar any more? I think not.
  21. LOL we have an old member who went to the dark side of the force (Alex and his evo) who went down this path a couple of years ago. Pretty sure he was the first in Aus to do it, and the results were quite good. He did kinda lose most of his front end in an accident tho IIRC
  22. Nope - the headlight is a completely different shape, as is the bonnet I am 99.9% sure the only way to interchange them is to swap Guards, Bonnet, Front bar, Grill, Headlights, High beam lights, indicators/fog lights and front bar reo all at once.
  23. +11ty /pats GL with the repairs man.
  24. putting ur face to a car - you are doing it......quite well actually.
