You wont need to worry, you will be able to get the wheels to spin at WOT in 1st but thats about it.
You should start worrying when you roll on the throttle in 3rd and she lights up
But at that point you have spent a small fortune on the car anyway so whats a few set of tyres.
I guess if your gear is not balanced properly any pump will fail. After all its the vibration that kills them isnt it?
Should last the distance if everything is the way it should be and assembled right.
If mine fails ill be sure to let you know
Wont be a cooler pipe, car wont rev at all if it was.
Do you have a PFC with hand controller? If you do check out the sensors to see if any are blacked out.
Your tuner will be able to diagnose it though.
Good luck with it all
Where did you get the plenum painted? And how much did it cost you? Do you have a paint code for it?
Im sending my pressure plate to jim tomorrow. Will get it back all nice and upgraded with a 5 puk carbonic and sprung clutch plate.
This is a good price for this clutch, whoever buys it will be extremely happy.
Are the Poncams for RB25s up to 9/97 builds?
You can tell its had a basic respray. I would have cleaned the engine bay of the primer and paint dust before i sold it though
But congrats mate all the same. Turn the wick up on that thing.
Sorry to hear this mate.
I know this will sound like a waste of owning a skyline, but my car spends 80% of the time locked in my garage with alarm on.Car is never parked anywhere besides my garage. If it is parked anywhere im in it.
I dont even park it in my driveway, when i get home its straight in the garage.
Yes this might sound extreme to some, but atleast i know it wont get stolen, unless someone prys the keys out of my dead hand. As they say the best cure is prevention,do not give the bastards a chance in the first place.
It makes it that much more enjoyable when i drive it though.
If i did not have a garage to park it in i would never have bought a car like this.
HKS T51R SPL is the 1000hp turbo
HKS T51R KAI is the 800hp turbo.
I would say dry sump setup if you are going to be spending that type of money.
Strip the interior.
Cage.
And the best of luck
All i need to do is get my motor back, put it in,get the piping done, get the lines made, order my clutch, get it started and tuned, run it in,dial up 24psi and then i can make it. Simple.
It will need to be retuned mate, even if i had the same mods as you it would still be smart to have it retuned.
But it does have a base map in it that will get you around until you get it tuned.
