Hey mate i didnt get the slips from it. i cbf was pissy lol... i should have but threw in the towel after 3 runs. Will get back out as soon as the car is better sorted. Na its still not sorted at all, boost comes on late still. The only reason i ask there was a few stockish 32s and 33s getting off the line a hell of a lot better then me with less hp. I can only remember it ran into the high 12s each time Was yours the white stag?? I was there late late. as i wasnt going to do it then decided to.... But had my bright yellow LH torana out there early if you saw that? but also had trouble on the day with that also.. hence why the towel was thrown in early and no slips were got lol.. all round had a shit day lol. The Torana should run into the 11s but best that was sqeezed out was 12.3 with it breaking down from launch to mid track then ran perfect from there

Hey all Took the track car out to the 1/4 mile drags on the weekend. Wasnt a full on meet or anything more a come and try / test. My HUGE problem was bogging down hard at the start, not being able to launch at all. Running slicks i couldnt get off the line at all. Car is a r33 gtst has 335kws, manual etc it didnt matter how many revs i put through it nothing was working for me.... any ideas?? Once off the line and going was strong

Just to dig up and old thread.... Im looking at going the 26/30 route for my gtst and just starting to put parts aside.... Long story short, any of the 32, 33 or 34 gtr heads will be as good as each other??

Thanks mate Unsure its an elimination thing not a timed thing.... But with it not running properly and boost coming on so late all i was doing was frying the slicks for the most part. But it took care of a heap of the V8 boys. Cant wait to get it running well... I did see that was coming up, ill give this one a miss till its sorted, but will give that a crack asap!

Its a thing called mallanats we have in adel. A 3 day thing with drags, go to whoa, power skids etc its done with eliminations etc to finals Great fun. Done it a couple times in the GTR

Thanks guys. A bunch of little things to tidy up but guess that what happens when rush to finish up. Theres a vaccum or boost leak somewhere so laggy. But good enough to have some fun on the weekend

Having problems with fuel. Fuel pump isnt drawing enough to make it work to capacity. Plus a couple other minor issues. So for the sake of the weekend its tuned to 16.5psi and 335kws So.weekend on, but car not sorted. Gee owning cars are fun

so far 320kws on just the 16psi gate pressure
