  1. damn, does no one want COD3 for $50? I just saw it yesterday at JB Hifi for $90!
  2. you are way off mate. there is a big difference between R32 N1s (aka group As) and R34 N1s. Mark and Russells car used to use R34 N1s, not the R32 ones.
  3. try it with 2 ring spanners. lossen the other ones a bit, spray lots of WD around. then tighten the opposite one back up a touch and hold the spanner on it to keep the pulley still. have the pulley positioned so you can get maximum leverage on the one that's stuck.

agreed, it's only blokes with the 200hp hachis that need to do a lot of clutch kicking to keep the thing going. a car with 600hp plus shouldn't need any help, but even still a floor mounted dummy pedal with a switch underneath it would be the go. clutch by wire. lol.
  5. I will happily sacrifice a lamb for jeebus if he builds me a nice 3.5km track. even if the damn thing is in newcastle!
  6. .42 AR compressor housing is stock size. my stab is that they are stock turbos, or perhaps rebuilt stock turbos. check the rear housing and look for A/R. it should be 0.64 if it is then they are something decent.

for sure, lucky he let his sense of good taste restrain him.
  8. i didn't say I had never seen them. I said I hardly ever see them. haven't bought a new set of tyres for a while now, but for a long time after SR2 was available OS they were still selling SR here. I guess things have changed now which is good, but I mentioned is as no one else did.

yeah they seem pretty popular on trucks, vans, hatches etc, but anyone silly enough to put them on anything decent I'm sure would be laughed out of just about any place they step into. hey if I drove a rasheen or something I might get a set.
  10. you are right, they are both fine professions even today. and nothing wrong with a hairy countach. they are supposed to be a hairy ride. no TC, no ABS just extra woohoo. lol.
  11. ok, this sums up the 80s nicely. oh to have been a coke dealer or stock broker back in the day.
  12. yeah nik is kick ass. but I can still picture it with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1GTf1T4_7Y cranking out my tape deck.
  13. well we were very cutting edge back then. think cut com, or slash co. we also wore very, very thin ties. what can I say? except:
  14. yup, with you on that one brother. I can picture myself cruising along in that thing listening to some a-ha, take on me, or perhaps some nik kershaw as I'm on the way to my board meeting at compu global hyper mega net. ahh, why can't I go back to the 80s?
  15. good news little buddy. I hope he goes well with the future treatment.
  16. that's unpossible. ABS releases brake pressure when you lock wheels under braking. it doesn't apply the brakes all by itself. also, the cabin fuse is the ABS sensor fuse so it cannot just disable ABS, or just ATTESA. there is a fuse in the engine bay that can independently disable ATTESA but leave ABS alone but most people are too lazy to go for that one and just use the cabin one. anyway, problems solved - faulty dyno.

yeah you can order them like that. personally I think they are a bit camp. maybe ok on your toyota estima, or your nissan homy but on your GTR? no thanks. edit: they work because the numbers are transparent green and there is just some simple light behind it that shines through.
  18. something must be wrong. if you are using the tomei lock kit the light should only be on if there is another fault (like low power steering fluid etc).
  19. lol, yes I am working out every day just in case i'm wrong. may even wax sack crack and back, don't want to shock anyone too much...
  20. that would be nice but the 50 or so people who have their driveways coming off it may not be so enthused by the idea. I'm not sure how they'd cope in the morning trying to pull out of their driveway into the path of a pagani zonda hauling arse up mountain straight. as for sydney tracks, I'm still sulking about oran being demolished. and I'll believe the existence of it's replacement when I see it. fark, if it doesn't happen I may have to move to victoria or japan just to get some choice of circuit.
  21. try for SR2 if you can. though I've hardly ever seen them here. otherwise SR is fine. good to see you back in a GTR big boy. now get down here, it's only been about 5 years since I've seen your pretty face!
  22. haha, how you can mistake a convertible M3 for a 5 series is beyond me, sunshine.
  23. tangara? DAME!
  24. yeah there are heaps more 700 class than 500 class took a while before I lucked out and got one. you are so right. it sucks badly when you are back in aus using out shitty rail systems. what a joke.
  25. the tomei pipes are far bigger than the HKS ones. the HKS outlet it only around 60-65mm the tomei one is 75mm maybe even a touch bigger. the HKS ones are also not finished very nicely inside. the tomei ones are finished very well. the trust ones are good, but again, not finished all that well inside. plus they are very heavy, and hard to fit, and expensive. I think that is why sewid went tomei this time.
