I know my midori type ones touched in the middle with only about 2.5neg (could mod them for more). the noltec ones I have now are good, but again, they are as short as they go and give me 3 neg. again, could probably mod them for more if need be. but I guess if you are happy with a certain set-up then fixed is the go. anyway, you are a gingerbeer, just cut and weld the ones you have now you lazy bastard.

they wont fit R32 merlin. even with your magic. R32s have different upright and upper control arm arrangement to 33s and 34 GTRs.

to use your theory then, how about if it was your mum and sister in the car that the person 'just driving silly' ran into and killed? do they deserve to die then for it? my point is lots of people make mistakes and errors of judgment. very few of them should have to pay with their lives for it. I hate thieves and have been the victim of theft myself. but again, I cannot believe you people honestly want people dead for stealing a car.

I wouldn't worry too much about the fitment, but I would really want to know what they weigh. after all their main purpose is weight savings. There are others out there from about $1000 a pair up to about $3000 a pair for the mickey mouse ones. though I know it's not always the case the price on these ones should give you an indication of where they fit into the market.....

I never said anyone should feel sympathy for them. maybe a bit of empathy wouldn't hurt though. I said I feel sorry for their family. I also think it's ridiculous to wish someone dead becuse they stole a lump of metal.

you can buy them new from nissan, not cheap though. not sure of any aftermarket options. anyway, I'm not necissarily saying don't do it. just be aware it has potential for some fairly decent legal (and possibly physical) grief down the track.

dunno about that. my soarer had hydraulics. was very nice. and it was perfectly legal and road registered. handled very well and height adjustment at the touch of a button. edit: should add they were factory fitted hydraulics though not aftermarket.

yeah the building blocks are there alright, it just takes a lot of money for the construction... I reckon with what I know now $80,000 would be plenty to buy and build a nice, fast, reliable R32 GTR.

just be aware it is illegal to remove airbags from a car fitted with one. and the best prevention against theft is a garage and comprehensive insurance.

wow, you guys are some pretty stone cold folk. they are dead, because they stole a car and you think it's funny? they were fking 18 and 20. talk about a life wasted. I mean sure, car theft sucks (and yes I have had one $35,000 car stolen from me before), but I certainly don't wish death on the theives because of it. I reckon all you guys would do well in certain states of america where the death penalty is still enforced, perhaps you could even lobby for it to be applied to car theft. I feel very sorry for these blokes family's. sure, they did an awful stupid thing, but I personally don't believe they deserved to die for it.

it will most likely have the year it was complied down as the year of manufacture. so if your car was imported and complied in 2004 then it's pretty normal for it to have 2004 as the year model on the rego label. don't try using that anywhere else though (like for insurance etc). it's just a peculiarity of the system.

well surely it will be a big loss. I mean I alone drink about $12,000 worth of farken fosters over the 3 days.
