  1. we have plenty of threads on this. search nengun, then read them.
  2. yes, injectors are not tested on the car. they are tested on an injector testing machine. and yes of course they can figure out duty cycle. duty cycle is an instruction from the ecu to the injector. not the other way around. they just run them at 100% for a set period of time and calculate the CC/min they are flowing at whatever pressure they feed them.
  3. from memory cams regs state it has to be bigger than the capacity of the engine. hence the GTR racing one being 3litre. the one I have is fitted there with the standard sized battery in place. if yours wont fit there then for some reason you have swapped to a bigger than standard battery (bad idea). it's 3l so in a standard size RB26 if things go wrong it can hold pretty much a whole sump full of oil.
  4. anywhere that sells it online i'm sure you can pre-order through.
  5. still not a bad looking rotor:
  6. the only rear project mu rotors you can get for a GTR with brembos and a 300X22mm rotor is the SCRN008. It's 1 piece, 8 slit SCR rotor. costs about $500 a pair plus shipping.
  7. actually it turns out I was wrong all this time. that part number is for the N1 sized rear rotors. 322X22mm. They don't make a 2 piece rear for any of the other models. sorry for the false hope. endless do make them though. but they are quite a bit more expensive.
  8. 34s rears are the same as 33s. only 34 N1s have a larger rear rotor. could be wrong but pretty sure on that.
  9. Project Mu SCR Pro, rear, GTR brembo. P/N GPRN012 Cost approx $900 a pair delivered (just rough off the top of my head). That part number was for 34 brembo, but afaik there is no difference in the drums or anything between 33 brembo rears and 34 brembo rears. HTH.
  10. so it's R32 rear, with brembo calipers right? endless do make them but they are crazy money. probably about $1500 a set once posted to aus. Biot do too but again not too cheap, and if getting them may as well get the offset kit which comes with caliper adapters and a larger rotor the project mu's are the only real viable option. rears are always expensive though as they have that big steel insert for the drum brakes.
  11. yeah agreed. conbini starbucks vs the fresh one aint really the same though. and even in japan i think a grande size cap is about 350-400 yen. and you are right, azabu aint cheap, it's the most expensive coffee i've had by about double. and man we have gone way OT. and if you are nice I'll shout you a 1500 yen cap in azabu next time i'm in town! lol. now, back to the GTR. umm yeah, it's in sydney now.
  12. So who has pre-ordered their copy? http://rockstargames.com/IV/trailer_splash.html I am trying to decide where to order from. Obviously PS3 is region free for games so I can order from anywhere, but I have 3 things to consider: 1. price 2. content (don't wont a censored version) 3. delivery date (want to get it as soon as it's released) with that in mind, I'm thinking ordering locally is a bad idea. So I will probably order from the US rockstar warehouse. is that the best place? surely they will be shipping fairly early on, and it wont be censored, and their price is not too bad either even including shipping to aus. thoughts?
  13. well I once had a coffee in azabu that cost me 1500 yen! it was a good cappucino, but not 1500yen good!
  14. 10-4 big buddy. will get onto it this arvo. just remind me, you want project Mu SCR pro, rear 3 piece rotors for BCNR33 brembos? or still BNR32 sumitomos?
  15. will this car had no alarm at all. so any alarm would be a step above that. but basically forget an alarm for protecting your car. just buy something with 3pt immobiliser, back-up battery siren, and black wiring and have it installed somewhere reputable. The real thing protecting your car is INSURANCE. I cannot stress that enough. no alarm will help you when faced with someone just using a tow truck to tow your car away. but comprehensive insurance will.
  16. you need some new sauces. try mustard.
  17. it clears my noggin. and I'm 6ft2" of man love.
  18. displays and display functions are the same across all 3 models.
  19. my theory is they have to catch up to kick you off so you have at least one hot lap in it. maybe more if you can negotiate any little barriers they try to put up. just think of it as a chicane at deca and hand brake your way through, then off for another lap
  20. yes 3 spec. standard premium (bose system, chrome wheels, bridgestone tyres) black edition (like premium but with black and red leather instead of standard leather) very little difference between the 3 types both in price and in spec. ultimate metal silver paint is a 300,000 JPY option. there are some other options too, floor mats are around 100,000 JPY from memory. hyper LED option is about 120,000 JPY. they have tool kit and chromed jack options too.
  21. maybe just leave it white and put big DK decals on it? salvage some resale out of it!
  22. i would say that white 35 is the donut king car (or will be). not powerplays, just they took photos of it
  23. yep, that's how I knew what yours was as I had just diagnosed mine at home. did you get greg to fix yours?
  24. Duncannnn! nice pipes. never been a big fan of the HKS style dumps as they have 2 pretty small pipes. I'm converted to the big bell mouth dump which lets the gas expand as much as possible as quickly as possible, but yours look like they will work well.
  25. interesting point you make.... GTR into bustop eh? sounds familiar. mines datsun must be OS on holiday...
