  1. someone lend me their car. I'll return the favour when mine is finished. i'm looking at you paul. c'mon.... commmmmeeee oonnnnnnnn. if not I might take the legacy out and just circulate for a while. should be fun anyway.
  2. yes that was another good one. sure we have TC, but I swear we don't use it... ahh, why are all the creative minds in F1.....
  3. good man, at least you had a shot.
  4. lol. paul morris is mr entertainment that's for sure. he doesn't mind putting you on the grass should you dare to try and overtake. and he has no problem with making his move from about 5 lengths back all locked up. I reckon he learned to race playing gran turismo and realised that if you come into a corner too hot, just use the other blokes car to slow you down... fun to watch but I wouldn't want to be next to him coming into the cutting.
  5. lol, that's not traction control officer it's my pit lane speed limiter... *cough. or that's not launch control, it's my traction control cutting it when I launch.... hehe.
  6. samco make their radiator hose kits in black. anyone that sells samco hose will be able to order for you. same for their intercooler hose kits, though personally i'm not a fan.
  7. you do not need the head off the engine to fit cams. they are easy to fit at any time. just take of the cam covers, cams caps and bolt them in. the hard part is checking all the valve clearances and shiming up if they are not spot on. but there is no need to do it whilst your head is off. I would not bother with the cams if you are running stock ecu and stock turbos. waste of time imo. get some cam gears first, and have them adjusted on the dyno (cost maybe $200 in dyno time). then down the track buy and fit cams when you do the turbos.
  8. bnr# is trying his best to confuse us. like the good sir ronin has pointed out cusco don't make adjustable front upper arms for 32 GTR, but they may do for 33 GTR. I can't remember off the top of my head (they have a different upright and different upper control arm to 32 GTR). it's beside the point anyway as the original poster is asking about 33 GTR and Rear. if we are talking rear then you can't go past the cusco ones. top quality, very nice rod ends. good price.
  9. get off your arse and ask them already. this thread has been going on 4 weeks now and still no action. I would suggest that if you are under 35 then it will take some serious convincing to make it happen. but just use your balls and ask. they are not going to punch you out. the worst they can do is say "f**k off".
  10. bring in the push to pass! and don't bad mouth DTM. I just watched the season review and the race at barce I think it was was pretty intersting. plenty of tappa tappa tappa and in the end old wolfy called all the audis into the pits in protest. hehe, never seen so many happy merc drivers who all got free points!
  11. webber may make a big comeback on slicks and no TC. hell even coulthard may shake up a few. but somehow I doubt all of what I've just said.
  12. lol, I thought maybe you were still grounded. yes top night and good company. turnout was a little weak but never let that get in the way of a session. next event will probably be 2 weeks from now. or we might make it 3 weeks from now to get back in sync with our normal time.
  13. ok boys. getting ready to wind things up here and head down. i should be there about 5:30.

    Japan Trip 08!

much like aus most tracks I have been to in japan aren't easily accesible by PT. The big problem isn't getting the train to near the track, it's getting from the station to the track. often we are talking 10 or 20kms. so by taxi you are looking at $60+ each way. and bus is not very easy to take if you cannot speak japanese. having said all that. Mobara, Fuji, Tsukuba are all acessible from tokyo. and I'm sure there are more to add to that list that I haven't been to in the tokyo area. fuji speedway has access info on their website.

    Japan Trip 08!

it may not be hard to get to but it would take at least 6 hours to get from tokyo to autopolis by shinkansen and transfers etc. it's on kyushu mate, long way south from tokyo. you can fly there in about an hour though.
  16. umm, double demerits finished on the 1st. pretty sure.
  17. anyway, come tonight and show us noobs how it's done.
  18. man, no way can you be conscious and blow .604. you must have dribbled some beer straight into the tester! I would need I reckon about 80 beers to get to .6 and I would be passed out long before i finished drinking them.
  19. plus we will be the only dudes in there aged under 60.
  20. look for the best looking blokes on level 4. we will be half way between the little smoking balcony and the bar.
  21. ooookaay. you have been watching too much law and order mate. Victorian Police motto is "Uphold the right"
  22. lol, so this is what we've come to eh bris? once you've put all your crap in storage, can I store some of my gear at your place? only need about 30 or 40 m2 for now, don't sweat.
  23. should be sweet with the thongs if need be. I mean they are allowed as long as they aren't fked.
