  1. they are not selling well at all atm. I'm sure most of those guys would be open to some pretty ball breaking offers...
  2. I have to be honest here. this is not that funny. though I guess you are really team SA so you can be forgiven...
  3. now you're getting warm, but I reckon you could get a pretty good one here for $12K. easy.
  4. NO BMAN... NO!!!
  5. no that is wrong. the correction is done from your standard injector size. not from any previous corrections. I can't remember what the response time field looks like in logit but on the HC you just put in the correction from the standard injectors (again don't worry about any other injectors that were previously there). off the top of my head sard 700cc are 0.65ms. you don't need to do all the different voltage values, the PFC should figure that out.
  6. Yep, VSpecII N1 is N1. it's the same same. you looking for another GTR big boy? where have you been hiding? I was having lunch with Glenn Ireland the other day and he asked after you.
  7. nah, if he runs away you can cancel the cheque before he banks it
  8. I like it. good prediction.
  9. tell him you are samoan and 6ft3 and weigh 150kgs and you need this car as one of your 6 brothers crashed your other car while you were in jail for assault with a deadly weapon. that should do the trick.
  10. happy birthday love muffin. may your glasses stay un-fogged, and your cheeks rosy for many a year to come. and let's hope your RB26s remain in one piece for at least 12 consecutive months!
  11. well I'm convinced. both dave and duncan I know have thought about this a lot. so I'd go with their idea. especially if you are using a nismo oil pump (not nissan N1, but actual nismo pump) as they flow a fair bit more oil than a stock pump at any given pressure.
  12. Hey steve-o, I'll send you a message. JSL, I'll take some pics of the front pipes tomorrow. Also the Tomei dumps have been paid for so they are sold.
  13. you can't use both. but for me unless you have a high volume oil pump (like tomei, trust etc) I would use the baffles. simply because to fit the extension your sump needs to be cut in half and I have seen some welded on extensions that were done pretty poorly. and it's very important that the pick-up is sitting at the right depth inside the sump. also they hang quite low, it shouldn't be a problem, but if for instance you spun off the track backawards over a ripple strip (happend to me!) it would be in danger of getting collected. plus the extra capacity adds a lot of $$ to your oil change if you are using oil like motul chrono (which you should be). so I reckon unless you really need extra capacity, just use the tomei baffles.
  14. should go nicely in P1 I reckon. well I'm sold, almost worth living in america if you could rock up to work every day in that...
  15. bring back schuey for a mid year stint with Super Aguri. that will spice things up.
  16. yeah kimi was good in the interview. boring race indeed. I would LOVE to see webber at maccas. don't think it will ever happen, but I think he's proven he has enough pace (think jag on front row...) and he's pretty consistent too. I reckon in a mac he would be as good as or maybe even better than the current mob.
  17. the side duct is the BEST place to put it. you will need to make a vent in the rear of the guard liner though for the air to escape, but once done you now have a much better set-up.
  18. i thought he got a quali penalty too?
  19. fisi got hammered as well didn't he? or was that trulli? one of the euro fags gots reamed for holding people up in quali. actually yeah it was fisi.
  20. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...hp?showforum=11
  21. agreed. pretty weak though that he couldn't even pass a super aguri...
  22. oh, and do not buy the legnum/galant. absolute nugget.
  23. GTI-R is a good choice. plus they look like a normal-ish hatch so you wont cop hassle from tha man. I reckon you only have these choices: GTI-R SR20 S13 MX5 Any of them will be a good choice. GTI-R can be bought so cheaply now, and if you do decide to go nuts you could build a 10 second GTI-R pretty cheaply (compared to cosmo, or GTR etc). Plus they are fairly nice just to drive arond in. MX5 will be much better on fuel, but looks a bit camp, and it's quite small inside so you may not be comfy in it. but it would be great fun on track and ok for just driving around. SR20 S13 is a pretty chat car. they have horrible interior, most in your budget will be fairly shagged too, but they have SR20 turbo up front, 5spd in the middle and driving the rear wheels which is a recipe for fun. some downsides are crap brakes, 4 stud hubs and again, that nasty interior will make driving it every day pretty annoying, but it will probably be the best on track of the 3.
