2 10s should be more responsive. that's about all I know!
-
man they have been selling that stuff for at least 4 or 5 years. it's good for cooking chips in too. tasty.
-
the craziest part is how long it runs for after the initial KABANG. it runs for a good few seconds more with half the block missing!
-
they can get exemptions from wearing a seatbelt due to health reasons. not too bright though...
-
steve-o mate, that is just wrong! there's always someone who takes it too far... adz, we had one or two AKs but I never got to fire one. ahh america. the gun 'enthusiasts' paradise... lol. I've been to hawaii before but never did any shooting there.
-
I just watched it on TV. It's shown here live on Fox, and then replayed a few times too. I caught the monday night reply. It was actually not a bad race. even without marcos.
-
f**k the calendar adz just get me an invite! lol, I haven't fired a 'proper' gun in quite some time. well appart from an oversized, rapid fire, semi-auto pants cannon. well I'm sure you know those steyers feel a bit cheap after the nice back breaking weight of the steyer (try a horizontal traverse with one hanging off you, or a light jog of 10km or so). but the nastiest rifle I've ever fired would have to be the M16. talk about disposable. I thought it was made by a kid in china. there are probably M16 replica BB guns that are sturdier and better made!

well a 1.5way is still a 2 way. just weaker on deccel (which is good unless you like backing it into to corners all the time). up to you. if you are hard core into drift then a 2 way is the go.

tacker, the hole drilled into your cage I understand is one of the JAF/FIA requirements. But the two stickers in your pic. the top one is just the part number and model info of the cage. it just looks like a regular sticker, not a self destroying one. the silver sticker is just the NAPAC member sticker. showing that cusco is a member of the japanese auto parts association (like SEMA in the US). they put that silver sticker on heaps of their parts. the FIA approval plaque must be somewhere else. I agree with nismoid in that a cusco cage is no use for CAMS scrutinsed events requiring a cage. I'm not sure I agree with it being more dangerous than no cage though. I mean they are made to a standard, and produced by a reputable company. yes the bends in the front legs reduce strength in that area, but the roll over hoop alone would be a huge lift to occupant safety in any roll over crash. the reason they don't meet approval here is that the standards here have VERY specific requirements (like what type of seamless tube, wall thickness, style of welds and joins, thickness of mounts) for all I know the cusco one may meet many of the requirements and fail some just slightly. I don't think that makes it dangerous.

and I agree with troy. even though adz may be as camp as a row of tents at least he's not afraid to put himself out there and have a crack. so for that alone he's allowed un-fetered access to any fine drinking establishment in NSW anytime. I'll even stump up for the beer. I guess anyone that enjoys a nice refreshing beverage or 20 whilst shooting off some rounds can't be all bad.

yeah I'm not the smartest tack out there. but I do still have a tiny point... oops. well I did grow up lugging around the good ol SLR that will punch a nice size hole through the HK and the dude holding it! Then 'upgraded' to steyers which were nice and light but not quite the same as the beasty ol SLR. I'm a dangerous man with a rifle in hand...

Branster Engineering
Beer Baron replied to t01-100's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
most probably the guy you want to speak to is Jeff Brandstater their company is Brandstater Services. Their bsm sports site seems to be down. http://www.bsmotorsports.com.au/ http://www.brandsterservices.com.au/index.html -
Where To Buy A Tailored Or Custom Car Cover In Sydney
Beer Baron replied to Beer Baron's topic in New South Wales
they already have a template love muffin. they told me they can knock one out in a week or so. -
lol, don't look at me I watched it the ol fashioned way... on the telly. it was nice to see monty get fired up, but I felt a bit let down there was no serious punching on.

Branster Engineering
Beer Baron replied to t01-100's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
do you mean Brandster Motorsport? NSW operation? runs a few GTRs in IP? -
not in a cup race. maybe you were wathching the busch race? did you see monty having a 'chat' with harvick? if not, you were watching busch,

New Hicas Lock Bar
Beer Baron replied to abu's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
if it is for a 32 I will buy it. let me know. -
also the wall thickness and material of the pipe used has a bid effect on the sound and any harmonics (drone). generally mild steel is sold in thicker pipe than stainless and the mild generally sounds a bit nicer with less resonance.

Fuel Cell Into 32 Gtr - What Do I Need?
Beer Baron replied to shanef's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I would suggest if you are running dry sump resevoir and a 20gal fuel cell in the rear to forget about space saver spare at all. it will cause a lot of hassle. and in what sounds to be a pretty serious race car it's a waste of time having it anyway as you cannot race with it in there. -
lol, I'm just sus on the shifty looking dude in the background...
-
i still reckon heidfeld looks like a serial killer.
-
well he was 35th in practice, but quali was rained out so i think they set the grid based on championship points which meant marcos missed out. There was a nice little biffo between Monty and Harvick. the best bit was when harvick parked his car in front of monty and monty hopped out the commentator goes: "oooh, there's going to be a fight! I want to see THIS!" couldn't have put it better myself. but in the end it just some pushing and shoving. Monty did go a nice little gouge through the visor opening of harvicks helmet though which was pretty good. and he shoved a few officials too. after all that tony stewart won and it was a good win too considering at one point he spun off and dropped from the lead to about 20th.
-
yeah I'll concede beer barrel was pretty good. but you were due for a win after your last effort with the pin up boy from 'buns and ammo'...
-
well it's not really your fault, you are just working within the rules they have imposed. hell I would probably do the same thing. I mean if you can book a spot without paying till the last minute then it means you can leave your options open. but I think it's a poor system (for them). i'm not blaming the people that take advantage of it.

Gtr/gts4/stagea Centre Diff Differences
Beer Baron replied to datsqik's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
they don't have a centre diff. it has the transfer box which contains wet clutch packs and a chain drive. and as far as I know they are all compatible. as for the pressure it's hard to say as it's not a constant pressure. it varies to give different amounts of front drive.
