if the engine truly has spun a bearing it will last for probably 30 seconds. what happens is an engine problem (lack of oil, detonation, something) causes an event which ends in sudden bearing wear, then instead of staying in it's place the bearing grabs on the crank and it now spins with the crank. when this happens it's destroyed in a matter of seconds. when it's destroyed the crank is now spinning out of balance which causes other bearings to be destroyed. then the crank can seize and engine will stop, or sometimes it will cause a piston to break, or a rod to bend and possibly put a hole in the side of the block. I would say what has happened is you have worn bearing(s) which is causing bearing noise. if you stop driving it now and pull the engine apart you may get away with just replacing the main bearings and big end bearings. if you continue driving it the motor will be f**ked.

58psi is MASSIVE fuel pressure. standard is 38psi at idle (with vacuum).

in my experience walbros are rubbish. any brand with the word "bro" in it should be treated as suspect imo! but I guess with 2 of them it should be ok.

yes, you should not be turning the wheels at a standstill unless you can't avoid it. and of course as it placed huge loads on the power steering pump, this places huge load on the engine as it's just idling so it needs to up the revs to stop it from stalling.

yeah, and cutting your carpet, and drilling holes through your cars floorpan, and through your wheel arches, and cutting up some trim. appart from that piece of cake, just don't stuff it up!!! also bear in mind it's not the easiest thing to assemble in the car. it's not like a can of baked beans, you can't just assemble cage, pull the roof off and dump the cage in there.

Hi guys, Beer Baron is clearing out his parts stash. these are all the parts I had saved up for my GTR. Now I want to sell them. It's everything you need for a nice 300+rwkw GTR. I have: HKS GT-SS turbo kit (includes 2 X HKS GT-SS turbos, HKS multi layer metal manifold gaskets, full fitting kit including oil drain, nuts, studs, all gaskets). It's all Brand new in the boxes. Asking $2950. Since the exchange rate has been hammered shit that I've bought in japan has cost me a LOT more. Price is now $3200. otherwise they are staying in my cupboard. Tomei exhaust manifold kit (beautiful tomei exhaust manifolds, they retain the factory heatshields and brackets, plus they are investment cast, not welded sections or mandrel bent which means less chance of cracking. Also included is a full Nissan turbo gasket kit, turbo inlet gaskets, turbo outlet gaskets, manifold gaskets, everything). Brand new in box. Asking $930 Sard Fuel rail (hard annodised gold. It allows you to run either normal single feed, or you can easily run dual feed (one feed in each end and reg in the middle) which is a good idea for cars like the GTR with such a long fuel rail) Brand new in box with all the mounting gear. Asking $290 Koyo BNR32 GTR twin core radiator (genuine koyo direct fit radiator, fits with stock shroud and fans, good upgrade especially if you are running a thicker front mount, it's the copper one) Brand new in box, asking $500 Nismo GTR front pipes (suitable for 33 and 32 GTR, these are some of the nicest front pipes you can get for GTR, tuned length and with a flex joint, good condition, one small dent but not performance affecting, they are stainless steel and have an 80mm outlet.) Used. Asking $320. I will take some pics tomorrow but most people will know what this stuff looks like, and apart from the front pipes it's all brand new in the original boxes.

think it was in SMH (either that or daily telegraph) it had a big map of NSW, with the number of cars in each local government area that have been confiscated. from memory bankstown was highest or second with 12 cars, quite a few in liverpool area and blacktown area too. none in my area
