  1. Basically the same as light weight flywheel just to a lesser extent, less inertia, almost always one of the first things I do lol Plus they add some colour in the engine bay
  2. -5s are to small for a 3.0, would taper for heaps topend, would love to see it against the set of Hypergear cored -5s I ordered and Auspost "lost"
  3. Lets try this again Rebuilt with 0.5mm bigger Wiseco pistons New UE 260 x 10.8mm cams OS88 with alloy shaft Sold dyno wheels so was dynoed on 275-35-19s instead of 255-40-18s so revs are lower then indicated Also Scott changed from Dyno Dynamics to Mainline which apparently reads lower
  4. Yes, that is what I did, I opened the pump and removed the whole rear wheel and reassembled the pump, that was 12 years ago now and it has never given me any issues, I also capped of the rear steer feed at the pump and removed all lines
  5. A mate is having a similar issue but his is 24/7 and we have changed everything including pump, still no love Even the diagnostic tool comes back with no faults
  6. I had Denso Iridiums in my 34 but they leaked between the steel and the porcelain, then a mechanic friend of mine that works for Toyota said it was common for the Densos to do that, he said he has seen it many times as that is what is recommended for the Toyotas where he works
  7. Each to there own, I know someone that has them on his 2.6 and made 700+hp atw and loves them Me I have them on a 3.0 and think they aren't to bad but I wouldn't put them on a 2.6

  12. I set my base pressure off max recommended pump pressure minus 30psi boost pressure

This is the best result i have seen, this engine is about as built as they get, 2.8 stroker Naprec/HKS prepped and ported head with OS valves 260 x 10.85 custom cams with very serious springs, forget brand Port matched manifolds attached to Racepace modded -5s Full maf less hard pipe kit from air box to plenum Nismo intercooler and Nismo Plenum ID2000s with twin 044s on a custom surge tank Ross trigger wheel setup And twin 3" exhaust Plus heaps of supporting gear Just got the OK to post this from the owner ?

  17. No, I mean 58psi base is already 15odd psi higher then the base we usually see, mine is at 50psi which is already high then normalYou don't know what the compression ratio is ?

  19. List says Nismo cooler, factory cooler starts to measurably pressure drop from around 350kw, 500+rwkw on a stock cooler is where I call mythbusted
  20. Got a pic of the cooler, Nismo is not factory and there is two versions with one being far superior to the other Looking at the parts list I would say the exhaust and ID1000s are the most limiting factors and would guess a realistic 400-420rwkws and give or take 130-135mph
