  1. Oh tempting but unfortunately just bad timing Definitely cheap enough so GLWS
  2. That is what paul is putting in now to replace the dead 044s, I will be to to replace the noisy Weldon before car is back on the road
  3. PIGGAZ went 472rwkw with twin 044s I have a PWM controlled Weldon 2025a with -8 braided lines into a BPP fuel rail with 1300cc injectors and the data logging shows no bouncing of fuel pressure with 28psi and 623hp @ all 4 using 78psi fuel pressure ( 50psi base + boost ) Maybe my injectors aren't big enough to cause this issue
  4. Can this be reduced by using a big bore fuel rail increasing the volume behind the injectors I made a PWM module to slow down my Weldon pump using an output from the ECU from the map sensor
  5. This !!!, I was about to do this conversion to my 32 GTR then bought a 34 GTR instead VQ30det with Z32 5 speed box and a cut and shut bellhousing which I still have sitting in the garage collecting dust
  6. You might just be suprised how much gas comes out under power, even with a built motor
  7. I don't seem to have any issues turning left Driving in a straight line, now that is a different story lol
  8. I have done this Glen, PM me and I will tell you what involved It's to get rid of the A-LSD and replace it with mechanical LSD from the 32
  9. Haha, yeah I got the very last one haha
  10. 3k is ARC M109 core territory, the old Nismo coolers where just rebadged ARC coolers then ARC went under for a bit and Nismo moved to a different brand I wouldn't even think about changing the cooler till you pass 300rwkw, even then I would wait till I past 350rwkw before actually changing it
  11. Lol yeah, you can't compair my 32 v an evo for track use, my 32 has had the shit beat out of it one to many times and needs some serious tlc in the driveline department Iirc I know the EVO you are talking about and please, the engine is FULL built with all the fruit plus E85 and the car is pretty well stripped out and on slicks to run 10.7-10.8, change the turbo and it is a 9 second car Edit, found it https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HaWrQg7t_Rc
  12. This is tough, I'm die hard GTR fan but even I would contemplate the EVO VII as real compition for best bang for buck and if my near stock 32 hadn't already run 11.1 I just might have voted EVO
  13. Walbro E85 intake is the best bet and are cheap enough new to not risk used, I got mine from my tuner for $180 As for injectors if used for daily drive then any are fine and the ID1000s and the like can be had new for cheap now days as well, if the car sits around for periods of time then E85 compatible ones are a better option Plus there is nothing like the reassuring feeling of having new equipment on your car
  14. Has it been tuned for the walbro, when I fitted one to my 32 it went rich as fark Also I'm not sure about the Cefiro but on the 32 the voltage reg is on the negative/earth side of the pump It is possible for injectors to to all sorts of crasy shit including not shutting properly so maybe a clean and flow check might be in order
  15. Lots of batteries, lots of capacitors and very deep pockets
  16. I believe Ben with a Stagea on here makes adjustable gears for the VCT My idea of doing it on a dyno is it should/will clearly show any gains top or bottom end The reason I am not convinced of just VCT especially only on intake is to the best of my knowledge the adjustment goes from one end of the adjuster to the other end which could very well go past the optimal cam angles for top or bottom end power when a fixed set cam in between the different optimal angles may just give a good as or even better result then VCT Or even good enough to justify not spending $3500-$4500 to fit VCT to one cam Getting a VE setup on the other hand would be tits
  17. Get someone to post a graph of VCT on v VCT off overlaid You may just find the gains if any over properly dialed in cams are not worth the cost
  18. When you get it on the dyno change the cam timing to where it should be and reset CAS timing to factory spec them run it up, 15 deg retarded on the exhaust cam will make a massive difference to how the car drives
  19. Mick, so you turned the exhaust cam retarded by 15 deg but put the CAS back how it was before you started ? So the ignition timing and injector timing is 15 deg retarded Or did you reset the base timing ( CAS ) to factory spec with a timing light A change like this with a tuned ECU chip would very least require a run on the dyno to make sure it's ok still
  20. I too don't have chrome but still no love loging in from IPhone
  21. I am unable to logon either using safari on my IPhone 6+ current to right now
  22. What turbo did you take off ? Boost controller will help mid range some to
