I thought it was $150, but didnt want to quote it just incase i got it wrong...but there you go I thought Andrew (our machinist) told me it was the rb25 gasket he used as well.

i bought a VRS kit for the topend....You can buy a rebuild kit for cheaper than buying single gaskets

thats what I was told when building my engine...cant remember the price exaclty of the Cometic, but its a hell of a lot cheaper than the Jap brand gaskets around. Its a 3 layer metal head gasket with like an inbuilt o-ring setup. Apparently they use em on diesel engines, and in Group A?? dont know if its true or not....

4AGZE pistons are factory forged so they should be ok if the tune is good id think. Rods and crank are ok, just get it all balanced up, and use a builder who knows his stuff

There's one down on South Rd on the way to Old Noarlunga, just near where the freeway exits/starts. Looks like fun with big inflatable (sp?) barriers for some wannabe snipers

Yeah some serious HP cars around now.... Im just collecting parts (wastegate, oil lines etc..) and then its just saving to get the exhaust modded for the GT35r.... I have traction issues now with fresh tyres, but a wheel alighnment should help

Ahh, Cheers for that Troy I need to make a new retun pipe for my new GTR bonnet to go on. The old bonnet needed some of the reinforcement chopped to close the bonnet with the pipe going over the radiator, then up the j - pipe...I dont wanna chop the aluminium Ive got a new project now

Thats what i ended up with too...i love the off boost torque. The rb30 off boost feels faster than the rb20 in the topend :aroused:

You can use either the z32 or the Q45. The Q45 just has more resolution to tune with if you start talking big numbers....ie over 350rwkw i would use it. They both cost around the same, just one has more head room for later on. I bought the Q45 because it cost the same as the z32's at the time, and i knew id be going for around 350rwkw....

Rb25 crank and rods make it a 2.3Lt rb26 crank and rods make it a 2.4Lt I think this was what i found when i was looking at the same options.... P.S. a short motor is just the block, a long motor is the head and block together...

wrong. You use the rb20 Power FC, because you use the rb20 sensors and loom.
