  1. In Adelaide. Pics will be sent by Monday at the latest
  2. bump....make an offer...
  3. i have used HKS SSQV blow off valve. Comes with RB flange, and connecting vacuum hose (which has a little inline filter) Was previously fitted to a RB20det, and adjusted. I had no stalling issuses with this particular bov.... Works excellent, and has the fins in the end to give it that chitter sound as it vents. They can be removed i believe to give that normal woosh sound... $200, buyer pays postage ($10)
  4. That may be asking a little too much :headspin:
  5. lol...sorry. Mine only does the clunking when turning at low speeds. Not in a straight line.
  6. Troy, Sky30 is using rb20det tomei cams i believe in his rb25de head, so id say they are interchangeable. (10.25 cams require slight mods for clearance) From what i understand as well (it aint much..lol) increasig the lift extends the power band as well.....so wouldnt this shift the redline on the rb20 up as well? You may make more power, but it may require revving it more to get more?......am i far off?..LOL greater duration increases torque, lift shifts the redline up.....or am i wrong again (all in the process of learning i spose )
  7. My Nismo GT Pro 2 way is very clunky at low speeds ie 5kms or less. Its currently set to the softest setting, and yes its damn clunky when the clutch is out. You either have to get used to it, or get rid of it. I put fresh redline oil in my diff when i got it (it was just run in when i put it in my car.) It has about 5000 kms on it, and its always clunky, but damn good for corner speed (hooks up way better than std), and locking the rears if i need it (take off, and compression lockups)
  8. lol...ok, but a restore is just generally a cut/ polish any way (i used to work as a car detailer) My services are open to anyone
  9. I'll detail your car for $200...seriously....pm me if you want. I'll degrease your engine bay, wash the car / door jams, vacuum and polish it for ya.... pm me if you like
  10. I'll let u in on a secret..... left hand wax on, right hand wax off Joel does a mean job too
  11. Im on your side Gary...when I get my car finished i'll be taking it interstate to more than one place to have all the ADR tests etc done to make sure its legal.... Ive had a cop on a bike pull up next to me and say "if i hadn't just worked a 13 hour shift, i'd defect you for your blow off valve". Then the lights went green, and he took off (from a right hand turning lane) and pulled infront of me to continue stright down the road. Now without seeing my enginebay, how did he know i had a blowoff valve? And yes I do still have the STANDARD blowoff valve installed in the car.....WTF!!! Its a revenue raiser for SA, and things are not going to change here (cops issuing defects) until this state gets WOF checks like other states. Until then they do what they like.....have a read of the regency thread in the SA section to see the BS they have gotten away with...(defecting ADR approved steering wheels etc) I havent had any trouble with them as of yet (touch wood) but believe me i will be taking it as far as i can if and when the time comes.... /end rant....back on topic
  12. SAPOL do what they want Gary...they can defect a car with interstate rego, and have done before. Sending them the defect sticker will result in a nice fine as well....
  13. Well here come the excuses :- Sorry i couldnt make it, but ive had the flu for the last 2 weeks now (ended up being taken to hospital last night in an ambulance about 3 am because of it). Im also on workcover, so its best if i keep my weekend activities on the low for now..... Bring on future events though...
  14. do a search for how much they are. (~$1500) You just need one in good nick and it will last. No it wasnt difficult to put in, because i bought the setup out of another r32 (came with tailshaft modded, gearbox mount, and speedo drive modded) Yes, i was running the rb20det b4.
  15. Best to ask local transport dept if you can register it. Trizae...Sky30 said he used mx7 (vl) boxes and blew 2 of them. He and myself are using r33 gearbox....(and the r33 box can be converted to run cable drive)
  16. what size gate, and willing to separate?
  17. So when does the factory plenum become a problem then? If im soon to be running a GT35r on a HKS lowmount manifold with a 45mm ext. gate running 20 psi, would the std plenum still be good to use? I think (may not be right ) that it will be like in the region of 530 odd BHP? *discalimer*- im not here to start a war...peace forever with the std plenum i say
  18. lol...farmers union is liquid laxettes as we call it And Joel, i dunno why you know a link like that exists, but PLEASE stop posting your farts online....by the way u might wanna check for flow through on that one, cos it sounded a little wet
  19. i asked Rob some time ago and he said the plenums come : The photo above is obviously a shot taken as he was making the plenum...ie not fully finished
  20. same here...got no response on how much for the ps pump
  21. i need to get a ps2 "modded" down south. Can i give this guy a call? Does he work from home? How much does he charge as well?
  22. heard of that. They say because you are driving the car on SA roads, YOU are still responsible for it. They still defect it no matter what....
  23. Ahhh, but here in SA a emissions test cost like 3k +, and the only place u can get it done is Mitsubishi. Even then Transport SA are not guaranteed to accept it. They can even say no to a fully qualified engineers report done in all states, with full emissions testing. If Transport SA have any doubt in their mind as to whether or not it will be ok, they will refuse the rego (defect), which in 99% of cases will happen. Hell, its even part of legislation in SA that no SAPOL or transport SA employee can be held accountable if they are wrong......go figure???:headspin:
  24. pm me how much, and can u get any pics?
