Was great fun with the accordian bands, and fencing display I saw you there Nightcrawler, but lost you in the crowd after we got our steins and some kranskys....MMMmmm greasy beer breakfast.... 7. section is an open one moron
  8. make sure you get one with a good designed end tanks. Its all about the flow through the tank as mentioned. See the std GTR intercoolers for the design im talking about. i hate the cores that have the inlet / outlet down the bottom. If you only want up to 300rwkw the GTR ones are more than capable, and are tube and fin = good flowing of air through to radiator still. Ive got a hybrid of bar and plate / tube and fin. Just thought id add that to confuse you even more.

  10. rebuilt std calipers are the way to go. ive got 32 gtr caliper on my 32 gtst, and they stop on a dime. Tyres are my limiting factor, as i can lock em up pretty easy. Even on slicks i could lock em up if i wanted to. Seriously you dont need brembos to have good brakes. Unless you are racing every week....? Which leads to the q, why do u want big brakes? Havent been talking to Roy have we?
  11. cheers. I'll see if its the same as mine, and i'll get back to ya
  12. yer i agree...knowledge is a wealth that can be earned as well as money. How many people who own their own business get so far, before they need the help of them big shots to show them where to go next, to expand etc etc... Its also who you know, not what you know in some cases...but blue collar slugging it out is where im getting out of
  13. ive got a 3" front system, with a split 2 x 2.5" after the "race cat pipe" to the rear with 2 x 3" mufflers. Its one of the quietest exhausts i know, and doesnt drone. Its also mild steel. if you want a quiet exhaust, make it out of mild steel. You will sell your car before the exhaust rusts off... I followed the ford exhausts...why? Because they have 4lts, and a gt35r to shut up. And they did it with a split system... Cats and mid mufflers dont mean jack to quieten an exhaust...
  14. yer $10-$15 to get in, then like $7 for a stein with beer or raspberry cider (not that exxy for refills ), then all the weiner dogs, pork hocks, pretzelz, cops ears you can eat cops ears are a flat pastry with sugar ontop for those that dont know Pork hocks are the legs of cops...MMMmmm...greasy cider spew
  15. RB25DET Air con compress $50 condition? Could you take some photos of any tags / brands that it has on it?
  16. Keep thinking out loud chops, cos it helps me see all sides of the square. You are right though from what ive noticed. Everytime i seem to go for jobs, they group you into an area (fabrication/welding) where i dont wish to stay. Its hard to get out of a line of work once you go down that path. Thankfully (i ithink:)) im at the age where i can still swap blue for white collar, and get some experience before it matters...i dont mind getting my hands dirty, just i dont want to do it forever Whatever i choose it'll be fore the long run, so i know starting off down low again may suck for the shortterm....hopefully i choose right and i wont have to ever look back. Management is always going to have to come into it i spose if you want to end up at the top after a while...was looking at some management courses today actually Ive narrowed it down though (in no order)...business management, or engineering (not sure on mechanical or civil)
  17. how often does that reflect where the majority of graduates end up?
  18. sent u email regrading aircon compressor
  19. Thats the hard part. Making sure what you study will end up where you want. Anyone had a look at all the available courses to date? They just say cetrificate x, or diploma.....it doesnt really give any indication on where you could realisitcly end up...
  20. I'll be there on Saturday. Gotta get me a stein, and some greasy stuff
  21. atm im getting $28 an hour for unskilled labour, and im not happy doing what im doing. I think if you like what you are doing, money will come second....but it will follow
  22. lol skippy....one of my welding jobs was building them 10k+ camper trailers down to the simple 6x4's. Ive probably welded a few of them trigg couplings onto trailers (can anyone say kevin bacon game) Good story though, and it highlights why i should think about where i wanna end up....(just like kerry packer = 1+ million a day )
  23. Best way to go through regency without hassles is to go through as close to stock as possible.
  24. Ive done the pc tech. tafe course too, and it aint that great. sure it interested me while i was doing it, and showed me a few different things to branch off into, i didnt want to end up building and fixing peoples computers.... Surely there are some good salary jobs which dont entail me travelling underground, or out to sea for 3 weeks? The only reason ive considered study is i think it would benefit more in the long run....how many people study a trade and are still in it 10+ years? (besides anyone over 40 )?
  25. Just labour hire atm, nothing fancy. Have been doing metal fabrication (welding) since forever though... Ive been through a few jobs between each, so ive sampled a good variety of work.... I have seriously considered study....i just dont know where i want to end up is the problem i think.... 4 door - congrats. You are like the only person ive talked to so far who seems to like where they are at. madbung - very wise words there
