  1. Nah, natural progression is euro. Because, we're all gluttons for punishment. And, what's more punishing than euro?
  2. Good to hear. Hopefully you're happy enough not to notice when driving and just enjoy yourself.
  3. I mean, most of us just love cars. Doesnt necessarily have to be a skyline.
  4. Did you pick up a manual cluster to remove the position indicator? (Pretty sure the 34 has the gear position in the cluster, but it's been a while)
  5. I'd try removing it, connecting hoses and see if that helps. Depending on specs, it could actually be restricting the flow(it also might be helping).
  6. If you're dodgy you can try using a slightly finer grit (2-300) sandpaper on the belts ribs to remove the glaze from the pulleys. Worse case scenario, you still need new belts and wasted an hour scuffing them up. To confirm its the belts, if you have access to some, you can try dry lube. If they shut up for a minute or two, it's most probably as above.
  7. As long as it would take, Count the teeth on both belts to check they are the same. Timing belts will be pretty tight to get on, but this is by design so you don't have to adjust too much tension.
  8. The alignment *should* fix the self centring issue. Definitely get the to check your castor angle as part of the alignment(a good alignmentwill include this). As this is part of the steering axis inclination and that's what gives you the self centring ability. The wooshing is weird, as the volume shifts with the rack, so shouldn't be too much pressure difference.
  9. Welcome back! A 34 gtr would definitely be a forever car to me too. What colour did you end up getting?
  10. Apwr, voted for the other guy....
  11. Welcome. 800hp should be a bit of weekend fun!
  12. It's a place for non car talk. There's whoretown which is general shit talking. But also other threads coving all sorts of stuff(a lot still semi car related)
  13. Welcome. Dont let anyone dissuade you from your dreams. If you want a gtr, keep sabing and you will eventually get one. I feel like if I had have bought stocks, those companies would have gone bust and I would have lost my money. There's a gamble in everything we buy. I've had good times and bad. But... I've also met my absolute best friend through this network and can't imagine life without them(more like a brother). Keep in mind, some specific mods will change as technology gets better. If you feel like general chat, there's always the wasteland.....
  14. Ill stick with my black Friday sale pirellis. They were the factory option and a damn good price when on sale.
  15. Welcome. It's unfortunate, but a lot of these vehicles just haven't had regular and thorough maintenance for a long while. Once its back up to scratch, it should provide fun and fairly trouble free motoring. Keep us updated with what you're doing with it.
  16. A super responsive 250 would be nice in a daily.
  17. At least you're now aware of the problem and can come up with a solution.
  18. Dang. Keen for further updates when you get to it.
  19. Listening to an artist called "the flashbulb". Not bad. Makes some fairly well researched youtube vids in various things.
  20. Nice. Dont worry about the time of not running. My current skyline hasn't run since I bought it. About 8 years ago.
  21. Welcome. Had a giggle at your number plate.
  22. Not ready yet, but maybe later in the year?
  23. Do you have a price in mind yet?
