your probably better off just unplugging the knock sensors all together then running resistors in there. It doesnt run off voltage feedback from memory, it runs off frequency (It's early, I could be wrong but its not as simple as voltage) It looks tune related. Timing and fuel changing as they are suggests that after some driver inputs the ECU is not happy with how the car is running and is adjusting the tune to fix the problem. The R33 ECU's are sensitive and all seem to be a bit different. For example when I had a stock ECU and some mild mods, car would not run on 10psi, would just cut out when it got to certain RPM, and when it was dynoed on 8psi only managed 141rwkw. Where as I know other R33's with the same mods got alot more power then that. Others wouldnt just cut the engine like mine did, but would hit R&R Take out the resistors in your knock sensor circuit, i dont think thats working, maybe try just unplugging them. I think you will find, as suggested already, find a programmable ECU

mine already had the fog light switch on the indicator stalk. Aparently my S1 front bumper was a bit rare as it had fog/driving lights as part of the indicator assembly. Just had to cut off old foglight plug and join new foglight plug on, 2 of the wires switch places i think. If you dont already have foglights then not to sure....? do they have the harness for the foglights hidden away somewhere? They come from the headlight harness on mine I'm pretty sure, 3 pin plug, 3 wires

The AEM has an analog output which is what I use for logging with the power fc Check if that's what you need. should be it but. should just have to set the voltages that correspond with AFR's (these values are given in the AEM manual) but double check with your ECU manual to see if this is all it needs

Vipec and link can do this from memory. not sure about others. power fc can't but you can plug it in with datalogit etc to log AFR'S in map watch

remove heater hoses. and whatever else you can around there. removing the heater lines made it so much easier when I did it

take all the ancillary belts off one by one (remember that the one that goes on your fan also runs the water pump so dont run it for a long time with that off) and see if the noise goes away It may be the idler pulley bearing for the A/C Otherwise it may be underneath the timing cover, as said above, something may not have been done right in the 100,000km service or it may not have been done at all Also have a feel of your crank angle sensor (on the front of the timing cover) just in case the bearing in there has gone. Mine used to make noises before I put my new CAS on, but they were different noises to that. Cant rule it out but
