  1. Gove?
  2. How much room do they need? I ground a small amount off my front calipers with my first set of rims. they didn't need much removed so it all really depends what extra room yours need?
  3. The CAS should have a keyway inside it (they do fall out/break whatever) which should mesh up with a key in the end of the exhaust cam. Spin the CAS to line up with this as best as possible then slot it in. You should see what I mean when you look at both ends
  4. Another +1 for 8100 X-Cess. Been using it for a few years now, changed to Castrol Edge when I couldnt find any 8100 around where I live but found my oil pressure was to high on cold starts, 8100 is much better
  5. I got this one off Ebay: Oil Cap Cheap, but it looks ok
  6. O.K I cant work out how to embed the Video, so if someone knows how then let me know and I'll fix it. But heres a quick video I did. Its not the best, mostly turbo noise but anyway
  7. Its been changed since then when I put my HKS turbo + intake on, but maintains a very simliar setup, just 2 x 90 degree hoses and one straight bit of pipe instead lol. Might get flamed for this but I didnt want to use a stock BOV cause I absoloutly hate the way they sound. Ran one up till the day I started using the Front facing Plenum setup, and it is 100% true when people say there is nothing wrong with them. Would not hesitate to suggest using one to anyone, there just not for me
  8. Yeah should have been mo specific lol. i still run a BOV because i feel a bit safer having it on there Greddy type RS copy. cheap but does the job. custom recirc adapter, no problems so far
  9. I can take them if you just want to get rid of them
  10. Ceramic wheeled turbos - Yes A lot of Steel wheel turbo cars never ran a BOV from factory (VL Turbos are a pretty good example of this)
  11. That's why i said take radiator out. much easier to use a rattle gun and at 100,000km you should be giving your cooling system a freashen up anyway
  12. Working all of Easter this year
  13. Not sure why I cant edit my post....... But I've straightened up the diffuser and taken a better photo, so I'll clutter the thread up with another photo
  14. Came up pretty good. bit more adjustment needed but its pretty close. thanks Phil
  15. DVS JEZ has tuned plenty of Skylines with plenty of good results.
  16. Its not all that hard really. Remove radiator Remove Belts + Fan Remove Front covers (Cam gear cover) Release tension from Cam belt (think this is where you remove the Crank Pulley), remove belt Remove idlers + water pump + replace. Reverse It's not so bad once you get in and start it. Just have to remove alot of stuff
  17. Last time I did mine: Didnt get any good close-up-ish photos but looked alot like the first time It got detailed: Wash (Maguires Ultimate wash) Buff/Polish (cant remember of the name of the stuff I use lol) Wash (Maguires Ultimate wash) Dry then Wax with Maguires Wet look I think it was Was a while ago now so dont really remember haha
  18. You changed something pretty major and didnt get it tuned.. what do you expect? The standard plenum is designed to recieve air in the centre, the Greddy style plenums are designed to recieve air from the front. This is why its not ideal to mod the standard plenum to front facing. I'd suggest that your tune is out now because the cylinders are recieving air a bit more evenly. But having said that maybe you just missed something and have a VAC leak or some other issue But I think a retune will fix alot if your stock computer is running the car O.K
  19. I have an autobarn Greddy Copy. Been on the car for 2 years now, run 18psi through it for the last year without issues. Just spend some time prepping it before install
  20. Diffuser on
  21. To easy. mine is angled but it dips real low near the diff which is making it hard lol. think I've used a different mount on the rear to what you used as well to get it to fit Will have a play anyway
  22. O.K Phil. Diffuser doesnt fit as nicely on my car lol..... bit of an exhaust issue What Exhaust did you have? my rear section hits the diffuser something shocking. And I'm guessing it wont take long for the carbon fibre to melt/burn/whatever Mine sits pretty low, heres what I'm dealing with It doesnt look to bad in the photos but in real life it looks pretty wonky. I'll probably either have to hack the diffuser up a bit or make some new brackets to push the sides down a bit I guess? If I have to cut it I'm glad I bought yours second hand, would be sad if I had to cut up a new one lol. but thats gonna be last resort I think
  23. Might sound weird, but I polished my windscreen with a polisher and just some fine cutting compound and then put on some rain-x Found putting on rain-x alone didnt really do much. I've also used normal car wax to stop it squeaking as well... Both not really the 'Right' way to do it, but worked.
  24. yeah mate, I just got home yesturday from work let me know if you want to drop them by or if you want me to meet you somewhere and grab them
