  1. Google Is your friend But if you have an SLR then you may as well get Photoshop and that will do all your conversions anyway. I thought the Canon cameras come with software to do it anyway, dont remember what my canon software does as I use photoshop If you dont want RAW files just shoot in JPEG
  2. hmmm yeah sounds like a bit of a wiring problem. Does it only do it with high beams or any high electrical load? If its only your high beams then there must be a problem with the wiring for the high beams, like you said the earth for the high beams may be dodgy. The 34's had Xenons that get removed during compliance yeah? Maybe they did something dodgy when that happened and its showing up now? Just guesses but if it is ONLY your high beams causing the problem then Id work backwards from there
  3. nah i meant Rob, and then I realised your not going to be racing or anything there haha..... Whoops
  4. Ok so the alternator is charging fine but your battery is still going flat yes? So after turning the car off it starts ok but if left overnight or so the battery is flat? sorry if I've misunderstood just making sure I know where your coming from
  5. Take a spare spine..... You'll need it if your driving your car there
  6. what are your fuel cells like around idle (p01 to p04, n01 to n04) ? post them (in correction) Mine still has a recirc BOV so will probably be different, but someone probably has the same setup as you
  7. What? :S Yeah cause my daily driven skyline is a hardcore race car developed by a race team.......
  8. Yeah I'm looking into housing atm, thats why my car hasnt recieved any major upgrades lately lol Starting my new job soon so will have a bit more money to spare then. Because of my new job though, wont be making the easter trip this year. Pretty disapointed about that but what can you do
  9. well you kinda can.... If your car is knocking like crazy your not gonna keep your foot burried in the gas pedal are you? With ECU's that dont make adjustments based on car feedback, I think its necessary to have a knock moniter
  10. Make up your mind already How was your new years? We had a pretty quiet one really, didnt pan out how we thought and ended up home before 12 lol.... oh well
  11. Be careful of doing this if your brakes are hot, not good for them CV's, Handbrake on and put the drivetrain under load (first gear, slip clutch) listen for clicks
  12. May as well just buy a proper ECU for that price. That way if you decide to turbo your car later on or change something major you have a tuneable ECU and can get the most out of it It seems a bit to good to be true having that much jump, but I dont know anything about it so cant say that its defenitely to good to be true
  13. yeah but he wants to know if its going to rub etc. so offsets matter for that. I know offset doesnt effect stretch
  14. offsets are usually stamped on the wheel somewhere, usually on the inside of the spokes think my old wheels were 9.5" wide +38 offset with 265's (very small stretch) fronts were 8.5" wide + 35 with 235's (again think they are very slightly stretched. I have 9" wide + 36 with 265's on the rear now and they scrubbed a fair bit and I had to roll the guards. Just to let you know what my experiences were Might have to double check the offsets but I think thats about right
  15. I just cant believe the difference that changing the FC/1 and FC/2 settings to 1500 made to mine. Its great now I was planning on tuning the idle cells to try and fix it one day but I'd never thought of changing those settings so gave it a go on the hand controller and was happy with the improvement. I've got my idle values at around 14.6:1 AFR's and 20 degrees timing. It was pretty erratic in that area and smoothing it out the other day seems to have made it alot nicer. I looked at the example map that comes with FC edit and looked at the values they had around idle and bought my values a bit closer to them
  16. List the offset so we can tell you? I run 235's front and 265's rear with only rolled guards. My old 19's were the same and were fine without even touching the guards. You need to list the offset as well as the spacers to work out where the wheels will sit with the tyres. Sounds like you bought GTR offset and are spacing them to a gtst?
  17. So you went 10 mins idle with air con off then turned it on? Did you leave it for 10 mins after that?
  18. Exactaly. My First car was a VL Calais, and it had alot of electrical faults up till when i sold it. My R33 on the other hand, has been so much more reliable. It all comes down to how the last person treated it and the condition of the parts. Best advice I have, is fix stuff before it breaks. If I notice anything even a little bit dodgy on my car I replace it straight away. It saves you in the long run But as above, Make sure its had a 100,000km service done and unless you know for sure (or have already done so) give it a good service. Im talking spark plugs, engine oil, gearbox oil, diff oil and go over it to find any other problems
  19. Yeah I'm a bit lucky here in Queensland. I was pulled over for a random inspection not so long ago and he had no problems with anything. So yeah as above, only do it if your willing to do it right
  20. Stock Oil cooler. I'd just replace the hoses
  21. Have some photos I took for someone wanting to run the same intake manifold as me a while ago. Do these help much? EDIT: some of the photos are older, you can see in the first photo I relocated my washer bottle (which is from an S13 I think) to the rear passanger side of the engine bay.
  22. Ah i see now. So the AAC is what i was calling the cold start part of the system and the IAC is the Idle control. i always knew that's what the IAC did but people always throw AAC around and gets confusing. Yeah that's fair enough then. at least that clears that up I changed my FC/1 and FC/2 settings and mine is fine now. used to dip a bit when clutching in and IAC has already been cleaned. set them at 1500 as suggested
  23. IAC and AAC are the same thing just different names. Just slowly add timing and see if it gets better
  24. Yeah i bet it weighs less then a skyline and is cheaper............ Just go buy one and spend your time driving it rather than posting pointless threads IBTL
  25. Ah whoops. JEZ has picked up what i missed lol
