  4. 5 degrees was just a guesss... dont be like that its straight now and hopefully all good, Ill get it looked at if the light stays out to see how far the alignment is out
  5. drivers side mirror... did it fold in and out and have working mirror part as well?
  6. it is out a little but not that far lol I just think it had been a bit of a rush compliance job or something cause it had no horn on it when i bought it either, someone had forgotten that I had to tell the dealer to put one on It needs a wheel alignment anyway, will have to get done soon
  7. it was like that when i bought it from the dealer.. Think it had aftermarket steering wheel on before import and they just got the stock steering wheel back on as good as they could? just never bothered fixing it
  8. Isnt Lamborghini owned by Audi?
  9. kinda worked out the alignment, theres a sort of indented line in the top of the sensor and i figure the nissan logo on the ring should be the right way up so just have to get steering wheel and it should be straight... will know friday if it has fixed my problem
  10. What sort of lip? the nismo lip or a different one?
  11. Ill try and remember to take photos when I do this so if anyone else is interested they can see for themselves Thanks again for your help Lippo
  12. You could try find someone with a blown RB20 to get a decent condition second hand one but if its cheap enough new from nissan then you may as well get a new one
  13. ah ok sweet I may have to take the surround off to adjust the sensor behind the rotating ring that the boss kit locates in, but they alignment marks so i can get them both top centre with wheels straight and they will be fine? if thats the case then im all sweet Thanks for your help mate
  14. thanks for the reply when u say arrow on the clock spring.... is this arrow visible with just the steering wheel + Boss kit off? cause all i could see was the hub that the boss kit turns on (with the prong to align the hub in the steering wheel/boss kit and plug for the horn) Or do i have to pull the steering colum surround off to see/adjust the sensor position?
  15. Most stuff of the same model is interchangeable cant say for sure about 34s but for 33s you can interchange guards, bonnets, lights etc etc without any mods The guards on that Green 34 look to pumped to be a GTT unless his done a really good full conversion
  16. There both GTR bonnets with GTR bodykits The first one looks like a GTR to me but if its not then it looks like it has a GTR bonnet anyway.
  17. The first two photos look like they are of 34 GTR's?
  18. Hi This is a HICAS problem and before anyone comes in and says it, no I dont want to lock it because the problem I have can be fixed pretty easily i think lol Ok basically put a MOMO steering wheel on a while ago with a Works Bell boss kit and it was fine around town, no problems. I went on a highway drive and after 15mins HICAS light comes on. So basically i worked out what I had done wrong was when i put the boss kit on I didnt line up the correct holes on the back with the Hicas locating tab an plug on the steering sensor. So Ive fixed it now but the problem I have is that my stock steering wheel was off to the left a bit (say 5 degrees to the left while Car is driving straight) and the HICAS light wasnt coming on then so im guessing that the HICAS thinks that at that point where the stock steering wheel is was 0 degrees when it was actually to the left about 5 degrees So just wanted to know if I'm right and this means im going to have to adjust the sensor 5 degrees to the right so the steering wheel is straight and if so how do I do that? I thought I would have to pull the steering shaft out of the rack and rotate it 1 tooth to the right to fix the problem but i dont think that is the solution as I now believe the sensor will need to be adjusted So if anyone has experience in this I would be very happy to hear your results Thanks Guys Callan
  19. use the same oil... you cant mix oils its a bad idea go somewhere else? repco sell motul apparently
  20. Thats an adapter if you want a pod filter on the end of it
  21. R33 manual actuator is 5psi as well thought isnt it? otherwise how would it do 5psi low - 7psi high above 4500rpm? If you want I have a turbosmart dual stage boost controller, you can hook it up to stock wiring to run low then high after 4500 like standard or just run a single boost
  22. VL RB30 had 340000 haha Skyline R33 has 113000 or so
  23. perhaps it just makes it easier to pump up/check tire pressures as theres 2 valves?
  24. my understanding was that the Nulon G70 additive fills the impurities (damaged) in the syncros to kind of bring them to a restored state. Of course its not a substitue for a rebuild. But as far as I know its not to add extra lubrication properties but to minimise the effects of worn syncros
  25. They could have thrown our clutch lines in for free or something......
