  1. yeah i guess hey? Can you take it to a diff/drivetrain specialist. They might be able to do a good test of everything for 20 buks or something
  2. you might have to angle the intercooler a bit to miss some stuff Mine had to be angled a bit to clear the driving light/indicator assembly and the A/C fan. best thing to do is just to take the front bar off, mount the intercooler then trial fit the front bar till you get the intercooler at the right angle and trim the front bar enough for everything to fit nice basically trial and error, best way
  3. Ah crap i didnt know we were talking 4WD lol. But yeah it could be the way the diff was installed, maybe incorrect backlash. probably the easiest way to see is to park the car (On a hoist or pit if possible), get under it with the brakes on and try to turn the drive shafts, Then lift the front two wheels up and with the car in gear try and turn either wheel and see if there is movement in the diff yoke (or however the transfer box is connected to the front diff) and do the same with the back wheels That might give you some clues as to where the problem is. If its your front diff backlash then with your front wheels off the ground and the car in gear you should hear/see/feel any play in the system
  4. back lash is how the teeth on the crown wheel and pinion come into mesh. Ummm sorry I'm having a mental blank but im pretty sure to adjust your backlash you move the crown wheel assembly in or out of mesh with the pinion Not sure how its done on skyline diffs but an oil change will do nothing if this is the problem
  5. depends what single plate you get but yes if you get the right one it will handle that power fine Do your research before selecting your clutch
  6. yeah box will fit.... only the stock piping/hoses under the pod so should be right get the snorkel with the air box and u can see if it fits dont imagine its gonna make the price skyrocket having the snorkel paired with it
  7. look in the for sale section here, surely there will be one for sale there
  8. Looks great I need to give mine a good clean up, and will probably use some of those products now
  9. hey mate, any luck finding those fittins? happy to pay postage plus a little more for your trouble. PM me if you found some If not, someone help me out
  10. i got my works bell boss kit from just jap for $120 i think? Give that one a go, just put it on and make sure that it contacts with the hicas hub straight away and there is no slop between turns
  11. looks about the same..... mine are 9.5 rear which is what the photo is of.... spose different tyres make a difference to, my new tyres sit out a bit further
  12. damn i had it the wrong way round, but i was on the right track
  13. the easiest way to tell them apart is the series 1's appear to be a light encased inside a light assembly where as series 2 looks like reflectors inside a light assembly... If that makes sense. If you have a look at both photos you might get what I mean lol
  14. Took some Photos on the weekend They were only quick photos so the location isnt the best and the lighting isnt that great but oh well.... lol I had to play with my camera It'd been a while since I'd used it New S2 Front end: Rear: Engine: The First two are taken with: Cannon EOS 550D, theyve been re-sized so noone throws rocks at me for posting massive photos and I'm not to happy with them (My car also needs a good detail) but oh well
  15. Not quite that simple Link in 1st post = series 1 pictures just a couple of posts back = series 2
  16. It looks like a Hicas boss kit but the gap for the HICAS locater pin looks a bit large.... I had an issue not long ago with my boss kit, but that was my stuff up i put it on the wrong way (It had many gaps on the back for the Hicas locater and plug) basically the HICAS hub behind the steering wheel had a couple of degrees either way before the boss kit would engage the HICAS hub and tell the computer it was moving. So then after about 15 mins of driving on the highway (above 80kmh I think you have to do) my HICAS light would come on If that sounds like what yours was doing then maybe you should consider another boss kit? I got a Works Bell HICAS boss kit for mine, which works well when you put it on the right way
  17. 265's the very slight stretch makes them look pretty good i think
  18. stock turbo - dont do it. Theres arguments as said that will support both cases but I really think if you block it off completely it will destroy your turbo. intercooler may make the flutter sound different but thats about all End of the day... if you really want it to flutter, get a pod and get a good aftermarket bov that you can plumback and set the spring so it will flutter at 5psi or something. But seriously.... its alot of trouble for nothing....
  19. That top gear episode is in the first season... Cause that anoying fat guy thats not in it anymore was the one that said it.
  20. pretty sure u start from the master and work down (if you have had fluid out of the whole system The bleed nipple should be opened ONLY after the pedal has been pumped and while it is being held down. So pump pump pump.. hold... crack nipple.... Tighten nipple, release clutch and repeat Keep an eye on your fluid level so it doent get to low and start sucking in air
  21. i have seen both types on R33, pretty sure either will fit.
  22. it is press fit..... it will not scrape metal off the plenum I have done this, and it was fine
  23. Its a two person job bleeding it, its very similar to bleeding your brakes... You need to make sure theres fluid in the resivor and when ur bleeding the circuit the circuit should be closed -- pedal pumped then held down then Bleed nipple cracked while pedal is continued to be pressed down Bleed nipple tightened and then the process repeated from where the -- is above keep doing this till there is no air coming out of the bleed nipple and just a stream of fluid. You should have pedal pressure then i get the impression that you werent doing it that way
  24. send us a PM tomorrow afternoon or something if you really want it. I'm not at home till tomorrow afternoon and have to make sure its there first lol.... Im not sure if i have all the attatchments for it. The AAC valve is on my car atm I know that much so yeh let me see what I didnt throw out first lol
