Had to be done lol. I dunno people seem to get mental about catch cans but mine works alright for a mild-medium setup lol. Plus I like my photo and as above, I have a fitting welded onto my intake for the catch can. The bungs can be bought easy as, theres no problem at all sourcing them. It would cost bugger all to have it welded on. If he is making a catch can I dare say if you supply the fitting he will weld it on for free

Is yours a track car?

Mine: Edit-3161 by 89CAL, on Flickr Works so far, after all, it is just the stock setup with a catch can in the middle

No air should escape AFAIK. But seen as they are under vacuum I will have to think about it a bit more. The vacuum does disappear when you press the pedal a few times with the car off, But I think that is something to do with the 1-way valve and compressing the booster chamber. I'm not real sure to be honest lol. Will have to really think about it EDIT: O.K, research done. the back (pedal side) of the booster should let atmospheric pressure into the booster when the pedal is pressed. So I think you said you are getting air on the other side of it so that might be your problem. Master side should always be vacuum, pedal side is vacuum until pedal pressed. HowStuffWorks was awesome when I was 14, still awesome now that I'm 24 Click the link and it should help you understand it. It also shows how come you only get a few pedal presses before losing all brake boost assist

Idlers and tensioners, I'd never think of going anything but genuine. They are things you definently dont want to break in half lol. At least a water pump failing wont instantly kill your engine. R32 GTS-t Water pump At $140, they are pretty decent value for money, being genuine and all, there are definitely OEM items that are much more of a rip off then water pumps

Quick question. I have a Canon 7D and I'm about to buy a new memory card. I'm either going to get a SanDisk Extreme 120mb/s or a SanDisk Extreme Pro 160mb/s. Obviously the Extremem pro is a bit more expensive but is much faster. Just not real sure if the faster card is worth the extra money. I have a SanDisk that does 60mb/s at the moment and I don't really have a problem with it, but if I'm buying a new card I want to get a good one. Anyone have any advice?

Yeah I can never really understand why people try to buy cheaper when OEM pumps are not that expensive at all. Water pump is not something you want to fail

GTSBoy said he would put money on air leak from booster. I said booster We weren't just guessing. I've had the complete opposite in a non turbo were the brakes were soft all the way to the floor but still worked normal Problems with brake effort with normal brake function are almost always booster related

Oh yeah, I wasn't having a go at you or anything. It was just a general comment. I always see it, but I can never understand how it isnt easier to have a console for gaming (that is slightly worse graphics wise) and then a computer for everything else. I don't for a minute want to pretend that consoles are superior for gaming, but for me it just makes more sense to play on a console

Which Of These Fuel Pumps Is A Good Buy?
89CAL replied to yoshiii335's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Tomei pump. I've had mine for years. Easy to install, has the sock on the end, nice and quiet But it does depend on HP you are chasing? -
I havent got an ethanol sensor yet. Nor have I run ethanol fuel :S

I'll screen shot it tomorrow for you. But it's in the PC Link help file

Clutch Master Cylinder
89CAL replied to gkenshin's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hmmm thats a different one. I wonder if there is any other master that fits there a bit better. Theres soooo much more clearance in the 33's that I never got anywhere near the master cylinder. -
I'm loving all these photos from Sydney, Matt has had a few up on facebook. Every photo I see looks amazing, Would be awesome to be there for something so photogenic So the show is in town here, and I tried scouting a spot out nearby but there was nowhere real good to park up, and around the showgrounds was too busy, so decided to just shoot some photos from home (I don't live that far anyway). Sorta wish I'd been bothered to find a spot near the showgrounds now, Could have got some great shots, but anyway. Here's the first one I've had a little play with: Mackay Show 2014 by 89CAL, on Flickr

I never understand why people get on there high horse about PC being so superior to consoles. I know that they are, but for me, the PS4 is for gaming, laptop/computer is for internet, photography and so on. The PS4 never needs to be updated physically, and doesnt cost as much as a proper gaming PC PS4 is great for gaming in my mind, good for a couple of other things as well. Not sure why PC guys get so up in arms about being able to see the nose hairs of the people on their games. Watch Dogs on PS4 is pretty damn good graphics to me, considering its only early days in PS4 terms

Whats your radiator cap like?

Thanks, it's taken a long time to get it where I wanted it, still not there, and may never be lol Owning a black car really isnt that bad. I wash mine once a week at the most. Some weeks I get lazy and dont do it, especially if theres rain around. But it looks so damn good when its clean. I don't use any special car wash, just the Maguires ultimate wash. And have started using Turtle wax - Black wax which makes it stay pretty clean. I find If I spend enough time waxing etc the car once every so often, its easy to wash once a week I have taken mine through auto-wash's and it doesnt come up too bad, obviously never as good as a hand wash. Bit off topic this lol

Have you checked anything. Fuses?

Both or one of them might be due for a free air calibration?

Thanks I figured as much, the wiring drawing just confused me because it shows a 14v supply straight from the ECU. Figured that must have been just a switched power supply, but wasn't real keen to blow up the ECU so had to ask lol
