  1. Exactly this. Doesnt matter where the cam is, as long as you have the half moon (these sometimes break but sounds like yours is there) you can slide the CAS over that, rotate it to line up with the bolt holes, do the bolts up loosely and then get a timing light and set the timing
  2. Im thinking that or power supply, but the PS3 that I have spare has had a CPU failure I think so everything else should be alright
  3. Exactly what I was thinking. Quite possibly had the valley cover off while cleaning and have since put it back on. Does look pretty nice for a cheap one, series 2 as well so if its just coilpacks and plugs that need replacing id be more than happy with that
  4. Take it to a tuner? Every car behaves differently so youd be very lucky if someone gave you their tune and the car ran better As for the z32 AFM, having the vg30 afm selected should be all you need to do
  5. This is the group buy section........
  6. Ive 'flowed' the board and put new thermal paste on the heatsinks, so I'm fairly sure thats not the issue. It sat there downloading stuff for about 5 hours with no problems. And I can get Black ops 2 to work after a few tries (online), GTA5 didnt seem to be a problem. But F1 2013 kept shutting the Playstation off in a similar situation a few times I think its blu-ray drive, I have another PS3 that doesnt work that I got off a friend so I might try the blu-ray drive out of it and see if it helps
  7. Nismo's seem to be rated well if your going to be driving it on the street. If its race use etc then any of the big name Japanese brands should be fine
  8. thought that was a reply to my post for a second and was thinking thats sweet if it works Then looked who was quoted lol So noone been playing Watch Dogs? I'm keen to give it a go when I get home, looks pretty good
  9. I support this post and all of Jim's creations
  10. As above, the gears arent the weekpoint. The LSD centre might be old and need replacing but I've not heard of anyone using upgraded gears in the diff. Unless your planning crazy horsepower your better off just buying another diff to chuck in it
  11. I could never drift with my wheel on gt 5. Doesnt seem to behave like you would expect
  12. I dont think either of them are the fastest racers out there. Im not saying they are at the bottom but that car has alot to do with the domination so far
  13. Well it was just a thought
  14. oh damn. My PS3 has just started playing up, flashing red light 3 times and shutting down during games, Think its the Blu-ray drive but will have to wait till next week to try that out If the PS4 plays up now I'll be fairly devestated lol Anyone had a go at Watchdogs yet? I'm waiting till I'm home from work next wednesday to go buy it
  15. Google amayama, you can buy genuine parts from there direct from Japan. Just put the part number above in
  16. Strange. Nissan fast lists numbers nowhere near the ones you have. But you may have the numbers of whatever brand the compressors are Nissan fast numbers are: 92600-15U15 - 1996/09 - 1997/02 92600-15U16 - 1997/02 - 1997/12 Sorry thats about all the help I can give
  17. I wasn't trying to be too much of an asshole, but think about it Someone wants to break into a skyline, Goes on google 'How to break into skyline', this thread comes up, then indirectly you have HELPED someone break into a car. Thats why its never a good idea to ask these things on a public forum. Go see someone who specialises in car alarms and security and they will be able to help. I'm just trying to protect myself and others on here. I have an alarm but I don't want it to get to that stage.
  18. Lol sure. Been trying to sell it locally but noone is interested. It was a bit tight coming off the car but other than that looks alright Can just pay for postage if you want. I dont mind giving it away
  19. Yeah seems silly to get rid of it just to run different covers. You can make the 25 covers look good Or you could probably get the 26 covers modified to have the hump for VCT put in them The power will be alot nicer if you keep VCT
  20. A new standard one? Or a new new one? Brand new from Amayama they are about $260 Second hand they are cheap, I have one that I'd sell for $20 or so Part number is 14004-AA500
  21. I've run KU31's a few times, Good tyre for street use. Couldnt complain at all about them. I have Yokohama's on the back now and the only real difference is they are a bit quieter
  22. I think the front strut brace in mine made a little bit of a difference. Not huge but it did feel a little more solid in the front. But I basically got mine for free so wasnt really hanging on it making a difference at all
  23. This is a public Forum. Noone is going to tell you how to break into a car, wether it be yours or not
  24. Dan continues to impress. Kept an extremely cool head catching and looking for a way around Hamilton. I think if he can stay in a fast car he has a bright future Flicking through some news articles at the moment and looks like Hamilton is trying to screw up his Mercedes drive, saying McLaren would have pitted him as soon as sutil crashed if he were still racing for them, and also saying that NIco and himself are not friends. He obviously doesn't think before he talks Kimi on for a good race till that puncture, really went downhill from there
