  1. He he - another oldie - I was beginning to think that Neil, Dino and I were the oldest phukers on this forum ! he he Yeah - Gold Licence - You get a discount on the number of points taken off for speeding j/ks
  2. I just heard on the news: GTR Owner in Car Jacking. Owner got out of his car and was hitt from behind. Scum sucking dirty Mongrels ! I hope who ever it is , is OK and the Car is not damaged. Theiving crack head bastards ! /off to seach news sites........
  3. NSW Gold Licence Holder for 18 years. Currently, only 1 point down on my licence. Geez I'm old !
  4. fATZ - you're a poof. Where are you man - the Corolla is waiting and I'm thirsty ! he he
  5. Dan - is deposit I put in your account refundabe ?
  6. WTF is goon ?
  7. Nope - not without substantial modification, as I understand.
  8. I got your e-mail Pete - no worries. First in best dressed. Pete - don't forget to bring a slab - We can knock a couple off at mine if ya like.
  9. Well done Brett ! Top stuff ! Looking forward to a run when mine is back on the road ! Cheers, B
  10. I got a couple - not as good as some - anyway.... When I was 18 - schoolies week up in Qld - went on the waterslide - decided to be a smartarse and go down the slide on my belly - So I launch myself over the thing you are meant to sit on at the top of the slide - and guess what - I land on my face - busted all four front top teeth off at gum level - Worst pain in my life - 4 tooth nerves exposed to cold water and air - Went to the dentist and he put like araldite or some shit over the busted teeth so the nerves wouldn't be exposed - Had to drink Beer through a straw for the rest of schoolies. Another time, I was climbing a 9 foot brink wall - just about to get over the top when I lose my grip and footing - I fell and my the bit just at the bottom of where my nose meets my lip took the full force and implact of the corner of the top of the brick re-inforcing pylon thingy - blood everywhere.....
  11. Yep that's it Duncan ! I think Blitz has plans for a special Corolla project - Which weekend you talking about Nick ?? The car is still with me - and I am getting thirsty !
  12. I can't see no 6 throttle bodies on that thing ?? Bloody weird looking piece of fruit if you ask me -
  13. Less than 2 months ???? I'd like to see that !
  14. That's what I don't get about plenums/intakes like this ..... People say that these front facing plenums make cylinders 5 & 6 lean cause all the air gets shunted to the rear of the intake. And I understand the argument here. YET - they make the rear of the plemum narrower - when actually increases air velocity - Anyway _ I am no physics professor - so I can hardly make a comment..... Just one last one though - seems like Nismo doesn't like the volumetric displacement of a larger plenum - this one looks tiny..... Just my 2c - .........
  15. He he he Roy - you got me by like 2 mins.. Pic......
  16. The NISSAN * motor sport * international corporation adds sets one for skyline GT-R " NISMO intake collector ", we sell the NISMO shop of entire country, the NISSAN dealership and the NISSAN part dealership, via the famous shop, and the NISMO product handling shop et cetera. The " NISMO intake collector ", skyline GT-R (the BNR32, the BCNR33 and the BNR34) the tuning engine (400 - the 600ps) is the intake manifold collector which pursues the form which is optimum to business. It develops on the basis of NISMO Z-tune concept, skyline GT-R (the BNR34) installs in also the " NISMO R34GT-R Z-tune Proto Ver.2002 ". By diameter of the inlet pipe and the fact that cross section of length and the collector was taken a second look, the air inflow to each cylinder was improved, medium speed torque improvement was actualized. 400 - Such as user and as for size modification of the turbocharger the increase of turbo lag where we would like to assure the compatibility of output efficiency improvement and fuel economy improvement with the tuning engine which has the output of the 600ps transient efficiency deteriorates, being the user which we would like to avoid, the user where we would like to assure further output improvement with while it is the turbocharger which presently has been used in the main target was developed. Installation is the volt/bolt on type whose additional manufacture such as piping is unnecessary, (the throttle linkage, adjustment of the throttle sensor is needed). NISMO intake collector Way distribution of the air to each cylinder becomes equal, vis-a-vis the genuine products form improvement Depending upon the inhalation quantitative improvement between the front / rear side cylinder, turbine entrance aerodynamic volume displacement temperature difference between both small becomes * Front and back turbocharger entrance exhaust gas temperature difference of 2,400rpm - 7,600rpm average 18% improvement Because exhaust gas temperature difference between the front / rear side cylinder becomes small, both the front / rear side cylinder be able to optimize air/fuel ratio & ignition timing, output and improvement of fuel economy actualization * 4,800 - Output average 1.8% to improve with the 7,600rpm, simultaneously fuel economy average 0.4% improvement 155,000 yen
  17. Hey - just wait till I get my car back on the road OK - PLEASE ? Top idea Tony
  18. Oh Dear !
  19. Geez mate - you're having a bit of a run lately ! Glad to hear you got it fixed . Hey - give it a good going over before that Rally thing you and Fatz are going in !
  20. This won't fit on an RB25 head will it ??
  21. Here's another opinion I sought from a custom fabricator here in Sydney - this guy has an RB25 and RB26 head and has studied the stanard inlet runners, plenums, inlet port sizes, flows, velocities, etc - According to his maths, Nissan got it all wrong - the intake ports on the head for the RB motors are too BIG - he fabricates a intake/plenum that actually reduces the size of the ports on the head - fabricates 'tuned length' ram tubes with bellmouth ends, enclosed the ends in a cylindrical plenum and reckons he gets 40HP more at the wheels with just this conversion. He sells this custom plenum conversion for $3000 And the pipework from the cooler comes from underneath and in the centre of this cylindrical custom plenum. There's another opinion. Not I'm not saying that this guy is right or wrong - Just another way of forcing air into the cylinders. It's all good - lots of opinions is what makes life interesting.
  22. Hey Sydneykid - sorry my post was not aimed at your post or your findings in particular. It is just a general observation I have found. Maybe I should have said "To me - like I said, it's all seems like guess work". ( Measuring flow when the engine is runnig - the valves openening and closing and all the other factors, pressures, temperatures, forces, - how can one (accurately) determine what is really going on ?? I hope that clarifies where I am coming from.
  23. This plenum topic must be the single most subjective discussion point on RB25s around. Everyone seems to have different ideas. How can so many bright people have such differing opinions ? The reason I think - is because no-one reallt knows - and you can not empirically measure flows, power, temp, etc - and statically measuring flow is not real world empirical measurement. So guys - I think it's all guess work. But if you are happy and comfortable in the justifications and reasoning for having or not having a front facing plemum - it doesn't matter - as long as you are happy. To me - like I said, it's all guess work. Until someone can prove empirically, in a real world situation which was is better for the differnt HP ranges - I just say - Who the heck knows ??? My 2c worth only.
