  1. Performance of a modern 4cyl Toyota Camry. So it is comparable to majority of "mainstream" cars out there. My pick would be the R34 because the NEO VVT actually helps with the lowdown torque. Advantage is that a Skyline has many tasteful aftermarket mods, such as suspension, brakes, styling mods etc. An n/a skyline can perform great in the twisties, aslong as you have the right mods and the right driving experience (actually know how to drive it fast around corners). - Buy the lightest rims and the stickiest tires you can afford. Go the R34 GTR rims with some nice rubber. - Upgrade brakes to GTt or GTR items, or other aftermarket items. - Upgrade the suspension - LSD - Trans cooler, if you have an auto - High flow panel filter - High flow cat - Don't put in a massive stereo system. A nice double DIN headunit and quality speakers, is all you will need.
  2. Yep - that's right - things happen. In my scenario one of the zombies "came back to life" after I killed it. It snuck up when I let my guard down, got me on the shoulder and I naturally swung my elbow and rifle at it. LOL. The actor was obviously expecting me to react and ducked down. Some of my mate immediately put a few rounds into it.
  3. I did the Patient 0 thing last sunday. One word. Awesome. Initially I thought "gloyfied laser tag" with dodgy actors etc... I was wrong. Instincts just kick in, it's your own mind that makes the experience real, even though you try to convince yourself it is all actors. The zombies are believable, I nearly elbowed one in the face when it grabbed my shoulder (even though it's a no contact rule). I recommend everyone experience it at least once.
  4. I have a room available - I'm not even home most of the time, but nowhere near Moonee Ponds/Brunswick/Flemington though. If she drives and is interested in living in the northern subs. Feel free to PM me, and I can give more details. $500p/m (negotiable) all bills and ADSL internet included. Available from early/mid Jan 2013. My place is still under minor renovations.
  5. Master cylinder and/or slave cylinder is worn. Best get them both replaced.
  6. - Front brake rotors - Nissan dealership - I think they are the same as the A32/A33 maxima and non brembo V35 - Not expensive. - Front shocks are the same as R34 GTt and R33 GTSt - Rear shocks are the same as R33 GTSt - Windscreen - Try to polish it best you can - get a bit more life out of it.
  7. I've had a play with it. It's great for tablets/anything with a touch screen. But once you use it for typical office stuff and non touch devices - it's rather cumbersome... May grow on me. But at this point in time I'm not sold on it - unless I'm using a tablet.
  8. Bit off topic. My R34 has QT1 colour. It's metalic pearl white (silverish/white colour if you get my drift) - You can buy QT1 from Infiniti USA
  9. This sounds similar to this --> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/406478-help-rb25de-problem/
  10. Yeh. Causes random hesitation and idle issues due to leaning out/bad mixtures.
  11. Also a leaky brake booster (causes excessive vacum leaks) can cause these issues too
  12. Check for vacum leaks and possibly throttle position sensor.
  13. Bayside blue R34 GTR. ZLR.*** along Dalton Rd Epping.
  14. All noobs. I say buy an r34 GTR and remove the turbos when on your Ps. That way once you are off your Ps you can put the turbos back in and decimate all in a 1/4 mile race that will take 60 seconds or so... You just have to make sure the manifold is tough, because you may blow the welds to the intake causing piston rings to fry and your floor pan falling out.
  15. TBH - The restriction on a non worked 25 will only really be the cat converter. One thing we got to remember is that the engine is still a 2.5L with no turbo or any cam mods. The stock exhaust is pretty big for what it is. Slap on a high flow panel filter and high flow cat. It's all you will need. Anything more is just for noise.
  16. The outlet tips on the GT are slightly smaller. GTt pipes are almost the same size as OEM the chrome surrounds.
  17. ^ do that or just get a high flow cat and leave it be...
  18. Not sure if an older guy was driving it - I was following in my IS200.
  19. +1 very true imho. Also very easy to apply. Also lasts for ages if applied properly. On my Lexus (daily) its seems to last about ~3 months on top surfaces, such as bonnet, roof and boot. On side surfaces it doesn't seem to last long especially with all these wet months.
  20. Spotted a genuine Aus delivered R32 GTR this morning in south yarra - along Alexandra Ave. Maroon colour, looked stock but very clean with a nismo sticker on the rear window.
  21. Not true if it's a non-turbo. ECU and TCU are still separate for non-turbo R34.
  22. Clean maroon R33 GTST at "the hive" in Richmond. Chick and her mate. Tuesday night.
