19x9.5 20mm Offset R32gtst
NZM.031 replied to sxc13's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
most wider front guards are 25mm wider, meaning you can run what an R32 GTR would run... which i think is +20.. so it will fit yes.. how on earth have you got a 19 x 10.5" under the rear?? have you got pics???... i had 17 x 9.5 and it was near rubbing the rear tie rod and the rim stuck out from the guard. what size tyres are you running?? Bakes's R34 GTR has 19x9.5s and he has stretched 275's on them. -
hey all i have only ever seen one in the flesh and it belonged to a mate who i havent seen for years... it was an R32 GTR, not sure what year, but the thing was immaculate and had good quality components on it.. not many, but what were there were top dollar bits.. it looked like the paint was original but ive never seen an r32 gtr in the same colour. it was a silvery blue colour, not quite as blue as the local r31s, but it definatly wasnt the normal silver of the r32s like twoogle etc.. for the most part you'd call it silver, but it had that slight blue tinge that made it look modern and clean. the plain silver looks like its on the darker side. i assumed from looking at the paint code list that this was the paint code and descriptio, ive tried searching for it but nothing comes up... and i dont have any pics on either of my hard drives of the colour.. has anyone else got some pics or even know the colour im talking about?? cheers Linton

i got kakimoto, mates have hks... mine is full kakimoto from turbo back... 3.5", looks awesome, very quiet though.. it loses the rb grumble a little bit aswell.
-
and on 10" with a stretched 245... that should look pharkin hot
-
i had 9.5" work meisters on the back... with + 35 they sat neat with the guards.. i wouldve liked a +25 to stick them out at bit more.. with a 10" id imagine somewhere between +30 and +25

-
probably flushed down the toilet like you do with things of those nature. best place for em really.
-
these people really need to get a life... like really.. how many serious or even non serious accidents are there because of vehicle height?? most accidents are caused by speed and having 5 mates in the car.
-
grandma's telstar could beat that. nuff said.

my gtr wing was glued down.... farked it trying to get it off. never did get it off. keep the spoiler on there and find another bootlid if you want it to be easy... otherwise you'll have to take it to a panel beater and they will have to rub it back and spray after getting the spoiler off, they may also damage the bootlid getting it off.

Why Are R34 Gt-r Still So Expensive
NZM.031 replied to rehab2010's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
id pay it... if it was in immaculate condition, completly stock, and had documented low kms. like bakes says about how much hes spent on his r34... "if it makes you happy, its a bargain" if an "idiot" feels he would get more happiness from an r32 gtr than his $45000, whats wrong with that?? it shows how much he values the car... he doesnt look at it as a 20 yr old junker.. i could have a perfectly clean r34 gtr... but i dont want an r34, i want a perfectly clean r32... the only reason people are selling them for $10000 is because they are about to blow up, and after finding out how much an rb26 rebuild is, they get out as quick as possible, and with all the hoons that wouldve been in a gtst, seeing the low prices of a gtr they jump in them and crash them before the engine has a chance to blow up... this naturally makes everyone else have to come down to the low price because "thats all they are worth" sure, you could buy one of the cheap ones and put in a new engine and respray it.... but then its been fettled with, things are changed, the car is not as it was when leaving the factory. for the same price as a clean r34.. you could have a kgc10 GTR mock up and for the same price as a new r35 gtr you could have a real kpgc10 gtr, bet noone thought that would happen 20 years ago. i know which ones id rather buy too.. HANG ON TO YOUR R32 GTR'S PEOPLE!!! cheerio Lint -
no dramas with you admitting being defeated, respect given where respect earned... but id go easy telling everyone that you were in a boxter.

some needs to start sleeping with the ceo of coke dude to get in on his track.. i bet fatz could get us in. the problem is the government spend all their money paying police to keep hoons off the roads. build a track, reduce crime, reduce speeding etc, and police can get back to doing whatever it is they are meant to do.. ive forgotten as its been soo long since they did anything other than hand over defects.

dealers are twats... end of story... ive worked in lots.... just because they have a nissan/toyota/datsun, whatever shirt on... the people there are usually the last to know anything and they are on a need to know basis.. meaning you, by jumping on google etc, can find out stuff before they do. generally they dont want to waste time with import owners... if farmer joe wants a new diff housing for his 78' landcruiser and big shteeve wants some trd bits for his supra... chances are they'll serve farmer joe first because he wont be a pain, complain about the price, or cause unneccessary stress... and even if it is stressful, farmer joe will complete the purchase. tooo many times ive done my absolute best to source parts for people, get prices and availabilty from japan or the states, beyond the dealerships means, only to have them turn around and say its to too expensive, takes too long and they can get a/m stuff from goober down the road heaps cheaper and my work has been for nothing, after a while, this takes it toll and the attitude changes accordingly. cheerio Lint

women beards and beer bellys or pit girls... you decide.
-
nsw needs 5 more tracks.. with lots of pit girls... good looking pit girls... with legs and stuff... in short skimpy outfits, a big sign sign saying "all cars welcome, we have pit girls!"... then in two months we make a move against the rebel forces and ban gimps and their V8's (euro v8s accepted), see how they feel... then we will kick back with a choice of mello yello, fanta, or creaming soda, with our good looking pit girls.. while they sit outside the fence with their cheap wine and 3 day growth. the king of pop maybe dead, as is the king of rock and roll... but we still have rex hunt! long live rex hunt yo!!!
-
their needs to be a top gear style budget in which they have say $50000 or $100000 and they have to buy the car and modify it within that... otherwise you'll get robbie bulger rocking up with a v8 supercar with rego plates and it will be gay or high end euros... and again, gay. ill go... if someone does up an avalon! otherwise... ive got better things to do.
-
if anyone else wants to do this... i have a clean, standard, rust free, 93' r32 up for sale

hey guys, this got sent to me from the old boy Subject: Very Important Notice to all Car Enthusiasts Below is some important Info we would like to pass on - Dear Car Club members, On Wednesday the 1st of July, Wyong Shire Council advertised for Expressions Of Interest in the proposed ‘Wyong Automotive Racing Precinct’. Essentially, Wyong Council are looking at the level of interest shown by local and surrounding car clubs in a motor sport / driver training facility on the Central Coast of NSW, 1 hour from Hornsby and 40 minutes from Newcastle. Having been an avid follower and participant in motorsport for the last 20 years, I was very disappointed, like many of us, to see the demise of Amaroo Park Raceway and the impending demise of Oran Park does not leave NSW motorsport lovers with too many venues to view and enjoy our sport. Wyong Shire Council has asked that interested parties complete a survey and return it to them by the 17th of July which does not give us much time. The questionnaire / survey can be found at the following address. http://www.wyong.nsw.gov.au/about/Motor_sp...uestionaire.pdf I feel very strongly about the opportunity for us to contribute to the development of a genuine motorsport/ driver training facility that is well overdue. It would provide us all with an alternate venue to showcase our sport and help develop our kids into safer drivers of the future. We cannot let an opportunity like this pass us by. It has taken too long to come to reality and left unsupported, will disappear indefinitely. For those of you that require additional information, please view the website at http://www.wyong.nsw.gov.au/about/council_notices.html#40 or contact Kathryn Heintz, Strategic Planner on 43505552 or at [email protected] I encourage your members to take the time to fill out this questionnaire and return it to Wyong Shire Council prior to July 17. They can address it to: Council Chambers PO Box 20 Wyong NSW 2259 This is a matter of utmost urgency. Please feel free to circulate this email to anybody who you feel may benefit from such a facility right here on the Central Coast. The more support, the better for all of us. Many thanks, and heres the pdf form Motor_sport_facility_questionaire.pdf fill it out, help em out, do whatever you can! cheers Lint
