  1. if you have it tuned for 14.7 on petrol and throw in e85 its not gonna stay at 14.7, it'll be down to around 11:1. easiest way is to always leave the wideband set to petrol and tune to the same afr's as you would for petrol.
  2. might be a little different in twins but i think with a smaller housing you'd find the rear housing would support a fair bit less power than the gtx71 compressor can flow. might be better off with normal 3071s and smaller housings
  3. why would you want smaller? would be a complete waste of a x71 compressor wheel
  4. new cameras use infra red flash, cant see it
  5. i think it'll work pretty well actually. would be similar to a 3076 with a 1.06 rear, which is what i have and its perfect on a 3L. would be a little laggy on a 2.5 but should still do nicely.
  6. mayhem always has 25s in stock
  7. dummy it all up with the other tensioner and belt in place and see where it needs to sit then compare it to those measurements
  8. centre. thats for a 152 teeth belt, what belt are you using?
  9. yes, they're switched via the earth
  10. how is it not a true twin scroll setup just because its a 6 cylinder?
  11. yer i think it is, aslong as you have atleast 1 license tho you can use it on any nistune you want, regardless of who originally tuned it. unless they've locked it (not sure if you can with nistune?)
  12. also thermostat is in the bottom hose (coldest point), temp sender is in the top hose (hottest point)
  13. yer you can adjust the current map. the nistune software works with all versions of nistune afaik and the ecu doesnt have anything to do with the license
  14. yer but no one inspects every single batch on a regular basis. bp98 is considered the best here but even so i've had one batch that needed 7 degrees of timing taken out across the board under load to stop it pinging badly, unless every batch before that was 105+ theres no way that tank was 98. not a once off either, its happened a few times, just not always that bad.
  15. no idea, havent looked into properly yet but will be shortly, sick of 98 here and how ridiculously inconsistent it is
  16. few guys over here in WA doing it, thanks to ethanol being illegal at the pump here and no fuel companies showing any interest in shipping it here. we have to buy drums of csr stuff, which is over $2/L so using half that and half 98 makes it a little more affordable
  17. only problem with that is some restrictors get a bit smaller when you put them in. myne went from a ~1.5mm hole down to almost nothing just from tapping them into the block, then had to drill them out again once they were in
  18. 25 head needs more oil than 26 due to hydraulic lifters. a single 1mm feed (sounds like you havent drilled the 1.5mm all the way through) with a standard oil pump isnt anywhere near enough for a hydraulic head
  19. started randomly throwing errors on the lc-1, which got more and more common until it did it everytime, bought a new sensor and was all sweet for a short while until the lc-1 unit died.... didnt get wet and never once got the too hot error.
  20. have a set of stocker rims here you can borrow but the tyres arent really legal. if you dont find anything else i might be able to arrange something
  21. run myne through with the main engine loom into the passenger footwell i like the idea of the controller integrated into the gauge. wonder if they're gonna be more reliable than the lc-1s tho. still use the same bosch sensor which is a little gay (killed 1 in only a few months of limited use).
  22. or use a hicas line or breather line if they're no longer being used
  23. genuine nissan filter. penrite hpr5 or hpr10 depending on use
  24. 256 is the highest knock value for a pfc yer was a self built slapper, was revving it to 7000rpm
  25. 60 is the standard flash engine light value. i use 60 as a general limit. my motor died after leaning out and pinging (around 200 on a pfc), but that was running 25psi boost at over 300rwkw on a 100% stock bottom end, i would never reccomend it if you want it to be reliable
