  1. injectors should be fine. fuel pump however probably wont.
  2. harsh but true. great if you wanna meet classy 17yo mums of 4 tho
  3. turbotech works fine for standard turbos. and if the sumps dented enough to cause pickup issues then running an extra 2psi isnt gonna make any difference.... electronic boost control is almost always better, but if you already have a turbotech T then theres not much point spending money on a solenoid for a tiny improvement in boost control.
  4. s1 25 head, internal vct feed, stock 25 oil pump. 2 x 1.6mm feeds
  5. turbotech ftw. but if thats too expensive you could always hook up an extra spring to the actuator rod, i've used a handbrake spring that i had lying round.
  6. depends on which head your using, what oil pump your using, the intended use of the car and what you've done with vct if its 25?
  7. ring them up and get a new quote for your car (dont tell them your a customer, just pretend your new and get a quote) as it seams to vary every time. if it comes in drstically lower than what your currently paying then kick up a fuss and ask for the lower rate
  8. buy a rd28 hr31 halfcut
  9. nope, you dont need it in there. get a timing light on it and see which way you need to go with it scooby means are you using a spacer between the cas and the steel bracket (normally you have the top timing belt cover there), if you dont you'll have problems as the cas will be pushed too far into the cam. if your replacing the top cover everytime then ignore this
  10. get a small mirror and figure out exactly where the keyway should be (can usually see pretty clearly where its snapped off) and align the keyway in the cas directly opposite and slide it in. aslong as you set the timing before driving your not gonna hurt your engine
  11. other than the 180 k speed limiter all it does is increase the idle whilst moving. should run fine without it, mynes never been connected and i've never had any problems. yes the speedo gauge should work, green with yellow stripe is correct, it should plug into the body loom from the ecu then go to the speedo
  12. seams to change all the time, found this tho http://www.ors.wa.gov.au/Documents/4June2008.pdf regardless, even if it isnt always technically illegal your always supposed to keep left unless overtaking. if everyone followed that simple rule there'd be a hell of a lot less road rage on WA roads
  13. keep left unless overtaking (which is the law) and you wont have any troubles
  14. not sure bout wire colours but as far as pin numbers go you've got it right
  15. mafias just being typically condescending.... but i'm pretty sure the 20 intake doesnt work with the neo. if your set on a neo the best bet would be to sell your whole motor as a package and buy a neo package, swapping the turbos in the process to keep your larger one.
  16. n2 p2 is idle for rb25s, which is 15 degrees. regardless, the pfc goes into closed loop at idle and ignores the map. it'll adjust timing a little to keep idle at the target you set (usually ~850rpm). having said that myne usually idles a touch higher at around 1000-1100 and timing still sits dead on 15 until you touch the throttle, pfc idle control can be a little shitty sometimes.
  17. if you'd been blocking the right lane for more than a short while with no one infront of you i would have done the same
  18. yep highflow would be the best option. but if you really wanted a gt30 then a gt(x)3071 with a .82 IW rear housing on the standard manifold would be the best choice
  19. first thing to do is check the cas shaft. pull it off and look at it from the shaft side, spin it by hand and see if the shaft is bent at all , if it is then thats why the bracket snapped. if this is the case, find a replacement cas. once you have the cas sorted get a small mirror and have a look into the centre of the cam to see where the half moon section (even if its broken off you can see where it was) is then align the cas so its half moon section is exactly oppostite the cams, then slide it in. with a standard ecu the cas bolts should be roughly in the centre of the slots, which will get it running. but you need to set the timing with a light before driving.
  20. was there anyone infront of you?
  21. the main reason you dont need one is most intank pumps have a small filter in their pickup end anyway, to stop any crap getting into the pump itself myne used to pick up crap all the time and get blocked after a while, stopped pumping, was a pita to diagnose
  22. check before starting it aswell....
