  1. I have some s5 injectors for sale
  2. Yeah the first time i nailed it into 2nd it just startd spinning the wheels so i was taking up the two lanes when i pulled onto Port Waikfield road, it all good fun.
  3. On the way home i took more notice of the boost, it starts building from 3-3500 and is at full boost by about 4500 and thats when the fun starts. I need new tyres now. We will see howstrong the RB20 engine and box is now, im not afraid to rev it to 8grand and shove it in the next gear, 3rd gear is already started crunching. PS i looked at my last dyno run on the same dyno, with exhaust, front mount air filter, fuel pump and 1 bar i made 136 running really rich, i only made a 100rwkw imporvement.
  4. Joel pm me email address and i will try and scan printout when i get home. The turbo has a 0.6 A/R comp housing with a 54mm comp wheel from memory, this was new. The exhaust housing is 0.6a/r with a 58mm wheel, the big wheel is a problem i think. But you can not expect much else with a largish plain bearing turbo on a 2l motor, this is the price you pay for being for trying to do things cheaply and not buying a HKS or new garret turbo. But it does make the power and the lag dosent matter in a streight line and i will just have to use the handling to go fast through the twisties.
  5. If i email you some pics joel could you post them for me:uh-huh:
  6. boost was about 16psi, too hart to read as once it hits boost its jsut watch were you are going and pick the next gear. The wheelspin into second lasts for about 4 seconds with loots of opposite lock.
  7. I have 6 550cc rx7 injectors that i was going to put in my car for sale. They were cleaned and tested and in good working order with new o-rings and pintle caps fitted. Come with the wiring plugs as well that most people will require. $500
  8. I have a air flow meter to suit r32 in excellent working order, just replaced with a z32 one, $150 comes with the plug as well.
  9. Ok after many problems we are tuned and running sweet At first with the 550cc injectors in there were majr prolems getting a good tune below 3500rpm, as there was a constant miss even after loots of tuning, it may have been possible to imporve this a bit but as this car is my daily driver i want something that runs basically perfectly and we didnt think this would happen with the big injectors. So i went and got the stock ones cleaned and tested and refitted them and took it to get tuned today. The Result, 235rwkw with stock injectors and no pressure regulator and a perfect tune all the way. So it is possible to get up to 245 with the stock injectors with a bit more fuel pressure but all along i was going to be happy with 230 so im happy now. The turbo is still prettly laggy and basicaly useless below 4000rpm but that just means you have to rev it to 8k.
  10. Had a few dramas yesterday getting the tune right so it will hopefully be done tomorrow, the big injectors are a problem below 3500rpm. I Have an adjustable regulator so i can up the boost a little as well.
  11. I would be interested to know what boost levels were required to make that power. My aim is around 230rwkw on about 16psi for everyday duties, you can run a lot more boost through a correctly tuned rb20 upto 22psi probably but not for ever.
  12. I have the ones i took out my car, will measure them and let you know.
  13. I should read what i wrote before i post next time. That is karts, and we travel all over the country racing. My car is a gtst and martin could not get the thing tuned running 550cc injectors.
  14. Munro my burgendy 32 was there today trying to get the thing tuned but we are having problems with the big injectros. I also race Kars and found out that the first major meet for the year is on the same weekend as the nats so in not happy.
  15. injectors? How do the cam gears affect the power, more top, mid etc
  16. would someone please post some pics of my cooler piping if i email you them? This may give you a couple of good ideas.
  17. Because it was so hot they didnt end up tuning it. Hopefully today. Joel , i havent hooked up a temp switch for the fans yet as the davies Craig thing would not fit down the radiator hose so they on a switch at the moment, used 2 relays. I need to find another way to switch them on though, still trying ti find out when that fan infront of the air cond comes on
  18. For me it was either a remap, or do the job properly. A power FC has no real advantage over the stock 32 ecu, the only thing i consider running my car on is a Haltech E11, or Motec. The stock ecu does the job and only really laks some features such as data logging and output controls.
  19. wouldnt surprise me, i hear similar stories all the time.
  20. The amount of power you can get really depends on how much boost you want to screw in to it. This car is my daily driver so it will be kept fairly sedate. Yeah Joe I fitted an 044 a long time ago, the stock couldnt keep up with just increased boost. While there is no such thing is cheap performance you can do thing well for a lot less than some spend. PS- If anyone wants a to make a bid for the complete setup from cooler to exhaust tip i would consider it as im always planning to do someting else.
  21. Well I did everything myself and only got stuff when it was cheap, this has taken about 6months. All up i spent about $6000, with new radiator thermofans and doing everything properly. While not being cheap is far less than some would spend on the basics.
  22. Yeah Matt after much debate i ended up sticking to the stock ECU and will be dropping it off in the morning. Hope for decent result but not as much as your making
  23. Joel i get my stuff from Dynamic Turbo, ATS may be better for you. The copper gasket between the turbo and manifold cost me $15 from memory.
  24. Many of the multi plate clutches can be rebuilt but they are not cheap to get done. Would only be worth buying something cheap. I thing extreme are starting to make their own twin/tripple plate clutches as well, a lot cheaper than imported stuff.
  25. For an exhaust gas temp gauge you will need a sensor in the exhust. The autometer air/fuel ratio meters hook up to the o2 sensor in the dump pipe.
