  3. How on earth did you not cop an emissions test with that turbo hanging off the side of your engine is beyond me!
  4. What sort of cat did you use, Dave? Did the lack of stupid AFM's give you any grief?
  5. It's a handful of bolts. Split them and be done with it.
  6. Power, use of car, rpm limit, fuel, how much do you care of having a big fat power and or do you want a top end screamer. More info needed to help you!
  7. When you look at it, they really are an N1 block, slightly different pistons (still cast), N1 water and oil pump. Just to add insult, it's still a standard stroke crank. If you're going to be spending all this money, you'd have rocks in your head not to go some sort of stroked engine.
  8. There is nothing special about an N1 spec engine. Total waste of such a large some of money. All that money for a standard stroke crank? Rips is a good option if you want a 3.0. With the Yen how it is ATM, the Tomei (2.8) might not be THAT bad...
  9. Is this the purple R32 GTR out at Winsdor?
  10. I'm currently making 474 RWKW (630 rwhp) and its been in the car for 7 years. I really think those figures are conservative. Never had any issue with it slipping.
  11. I've been advised to use the OS GIKEN oil, 80W -250. I'm currently using that in the front too.
  12. 640 PS VS 780 PS IIRC. How conservative those figures are anyone's guess.
  13. Heavier pressure plate. For the little extra, it's a no brainer to get the competition spec. There is rumours of not being able to use the Nismo Slave cylinder with the Nismo clutches. I call bullshit as my C spec has been in there for 7-8 years without an issue.
  14. Where it should be... Not in a cup of boiling water or resting on the exhaust manifold
  15. Mine did it also with the FC. Threw it in the bin and got a better ECU. Drives ALOT better without the stupid "miss".
  16. Bit of an update. Done about 500 kms and used upto boost setting two. It has no problems coming out of a second gear corner at 5000 RPM, get on it and turn tyres. Can't wait to try setting 3 . Car is going back to get the shims readjusted after it's cam and retainer change. It seems to have all settled now and it has one or two noisy ones. Bastard! Rear diff is booked into get its rear diff sorted on the 27th.
  17. Nismo coppermix C Spec. Mine has been in the car for 7 years, currently holding 475 RWKW.
  18. Seize? That's a new one!
  19. $1,000 for 6 nuts? My god!
  20. What do you hope to achieve by moving the AFM?
  21. Ever picked up a standard one? It may aswell be made from a dinner plate!
  22. Buy GTR BOV's, plumb up, job done. They do the job and really is a no brainer. I dare a standard GTSt BOV would do the job.
