My experience with this silly gold box. It cost me two sets of coils. Brand new OEM ones and splitfires. Bought another set, ditched the gold pretty box and the OEM ignitor (R33 GTR) and ran an aftermarket one and bingo. All good.
Thanks mate
Was out there today obviously. Yavuz was doing the light/medium load stuff. One of two more bulldog power runs then the they will work there way down through the petrol blends.
Question. For those of you who have removed the standard heat exhcanger, what did you do with the oil temp sensor? Pressure is sweet as we can put them into the sammich plate.
One for Robbo.
This one is an interesting one. This is my first ever tune with the GT RS's about 4 years ago and this current setup. I'm making the RS "peak torque" numbers at the end of my graph now.
I like my $10 paper job haha!!!Nah, bugger that pipe. So expensive.
Ill get another photo this week with all the covers on. Looks so much more complete!
Bonnet was up today so I thought i'd take a happy snap. Fuse box cover was off and also the cam gear + valley cover was off but this is what 470 rwkw looks like.
True, but there must be other factors in engine longevity than JUST power alone. Tune is obvious, but I make peak power at 6500. That just means I don't need to rev the guts out of it. Thats lower than the factory peak power of 6800 RPM!
Haha. Nah Marcus, it's all good
I was looking at the Quiafe rear (which has JUST been released for GTR's only in the last 2-3 months) but I decided to go the Nismo GT PRO. Thanks Marcus
Is that the one with both the intake and exhaust squish pads removed? I wonder what it would have been like if we left both pads in?!?!
The car has done 11.1 at 131 years ago with the previous owner running RS's. I think I went 130 at Cootamundra at a "peaky and laggy" 402. I dare say ill only one shot at it too... IF I nail the launch.
