  1. hehehe...so much for the idea of trying to use the curbs to get some wheelspin and onto boost sooner How did you link the video to start 5 mins in....very clever!
  2. The lose is about 5mins into the vid i posted above (2nd vid)
  3. Stil got my bus. 11th year of ownership and still running the RB20
  4. If I was drinking more then I could have thought up some better sledges on my driving and collated some more of the moments. Here are a few from my first two laps and then at the end of the day where I once again was trying too hard
  5. Some of my not so smooth moments and a decent few laps at the end ...
  6. Read a few pages earlier. Personally, I wish I had of listened to my tuner and left the std one on
  7. Cool, thanks. Could well be easier then making my own. I will have to see how I go. I did get these made up when i was going to soldi mount my seats. But holding off because I want to wait until i strip out all the sound deadening and colour code the whole interior.
  8. Yours are for the bottom mount seats so are completely different to the side mount rail I am running. Yes, had the seat out on Saturday, it is bent from all the moving around. Straighted the strap on the rear tunnel side mount and welded some 15mm angle iron to strengthen it. But still not good due to the design....I am just going to make another rail like my old one. LOL, I happily gave it to a friend because I thought it was too heavy. Seems with strength comes weight LOL, yeh I know

  15. Good vid! I dont think I have ever seen you drive so straight and accurate! You do seem to give away a fair bit in the straights so must have been fun really leaning on it in the corners and under brakes to keep up with us. Can see why it was so much fun Will post up some more vids tonight. There are plenty of my usual bloopers from either trying too hard ot trying something different
  16. You feel it because you are bouncing around adn on the long sweeper you are falling out of the seat....anyway. Will post up pics to show why they are shit when it comes out again. Need to go back and do my EVO III Brisasaurus seat rail. (ie for prodigious units) And a few pics from Sunday, my bus next to a friends new EVO. Kind of mutant cousins, both 2L, silver with black wheels
  17. I added 15mm angle iron the underside of it, welded to the sides of the rails. They are just crap...I know why I made my own 345kg rail which now sites in Baron's car But the thing is just badly designed when you throw a 105kg Aussie in it and try to go around corners.
  18. So the next mod to do is either make my own seat rail like i used to run, or solid mount the seat. Bride rails are crap, no idea how they get away with being so poor yet popular.
  19. Well for those that dont believe me when i say Bride rails are crap and possibly dangerous.... They bend soooo much
  20. No doubt Winton is heaven for EVOs, but a good car punted well will be quick everywhere! They do look mint in silver, and to think it was havinga ew problems but was still so quick. Even with only 2L you put me into the shade But I was louder...thats all that is important
  21. When is Shell bring back V-Power Racing. I need 100RON. I got plenty of running and got some confidence in the car and the new brakes setup. Was good fin getting so much relatively trouble free running
  22. Getting my puncher repaired in the morning so shoudl be good to go. No wheel alignment etc, but the car is running so...time to thrash the guts out of it
  23. LOL, I still have a pair of 380mm rotors laying around somewhere. You just reminded me. Will have to machine up some brackets for the Alcons I have anf flog them off
  24. Yeh, because I wanted to run a 343mm rotor rather then the Stoptechs 332mm rotors I had to draw up new brackets and get them machined up
  25. Marlin has my old setup in a box...it is tempting but truth is i would rather spend the money trying some other combinations using parts i have laying around. Wish i had free access to an engine dyno
