  1. I hope that S14 of yours has an engne better then those getting around in most of the club cars in Vic Funny, there isnt an SR20 in our club that is really going faster then my GTSt and there are a few stripped and serious S13s or S14s, even S15. I have not been to the track in my car in almost 2 years and only recently has a seriously tweaked S14 with built motor gone 0.5 second quicker then me at Sandown, and a gutted S13 with good power go something like 0.2seconds quicker then me at Phillip Island....so considering these are the only SR20 cars just quicker then me, and have only dont the times recently with way more chassis and car overall.... i just dont understand how people can argue that the SR20 is clearly superior because even in lighter cars they are no quicker. In the wash i think they generally end up the same, they just go about it differently. If i had of been in the country and still tracking my lowly std RB20 i no doubt would have improved on my pretty horrible laps....many have seen the footage of those laps and if you have you know its my rough house driving slowing the car down.. LOL, you got bite
  2. Bump! Will take $1000 pick up
  3. The AP CP5555 6 pot has less piston surface area then the std R33 GTR Brembo so you should not have any issues with needing a bigger master cylnder . If anything it is debatable that you may need a smaller master cylinder...but enough people run these setups on both the R32 and R33 GTR that it isnt an issue. Of note, you are probably best keep with the smaller R32 master cylinder, as the R33 runs a bigger MC with the Brembos
  4. Says the guy with a Cockscar, i mean Oscar Keep working on your mate, i want the other one
  5. Meh torque, in a rwd drive is heavily over rated. All it does is turn tyres. I will take less torque and actually have traction and a wide power band giving me good drivability and be able to get on it mid corner LOL, really i just like cheap motors that dont cost d1ck to replace in case something goes astray.
  6. The Dude got it right... so Thats, just your opinio MAN!
  7. Looks to be a GTS-R? But why oh wy does it have an RB25...so wrong
  8. So since there are so many pumped GTSts and drift cars in this thread i thought best to post here...i now have faily pumped rears, by about 1" or so, ditto the front. Will 18 x 10 +22 clear with undersized tyres? Close? I know the 18 x 9 + 15 are going to be tight on the front, but i run plenty of camber which will help
  9. How fun are all these controlled Tarmac rally cars to drive on the track? A bit tame, underpowered etc?
  10. Noice...so what is the plan...i mean you have so much stuff now. I recall a 20B lurking n the back as well or is that going to replace the Utes 13B so you can tow Cockscar?
  11. Thats right, "Turn Left Old Son!" Webber will destroy them on anti-clockwise tracks
  12. Updates?
  13. Well i am watching ticket sales for Abu Dahbi and how Webber goes the next few races. I would never have believed in a million years he could possibly be in with a shot. BUT, if somehow he ends up in a position to be battling for the WC, oh man i am so there. Bonus is i am on 3 months holidays from 17th October with an around the world ticket in my pocket so
  14. Just make sure the Cayenne calipers are not radial mount, if they are it makes the whole eercise too difficult. Also, Risking makes a very good point, i have had that many sets of calipers and brakes setups and finally settled on my 4 pot Brembos simply because they have the best range of affordable brake pads. $1000 for brake pads is nose bleed stuff for most... err for me
  15. i bet Valencia official will not be too hppy if Renault are not allowed to run, struggling ticket sales, then no Alonso, MS announces return and ticket sales warm up....then no MS or Alonso!
  16. How much are they worth ? Could be real interested. And my R32 doesnt have ABS, though it does have PS though there is little difference in the steering effort since the Caterham is so light with so little tyre And after almost 3 weeks of goodness, i am now back at work in India!
  17. The only thing that really changed in my thinking was i need to pick up a job in Europe instead of Asia so i can play on these cool tracks more. With regards to the cars, it only reinforced my belief that a basic light car with no electronics are far more entertaining to drive. They are also more interesting and rewarding to get speed out of. The thing would have 110rwkws at best yet was by far and away the most enjoyable and rewarding car i have ever driven. So my desire for an Elise or Exige is stronger then ever for the next car
  18. They called it the inertia switch. Essentially it was a little shock switch which meant if you hit a wall it kills the fuel pump so that you dont catch alight, it was pretty sensitive so also meant that if you used a bt too much kerb then it also stopped the fuel pump. They had fines for hitting the rev limiter, going into the sand traps etc etc. I suppose hitting kerbs isnt great for the cr, Snowie and guard case in point So i think its there so help remind people to have fun and dont go pushing too hard.
  19. LOL, it was a big farking mountain as we were at the base of the Alps, does look like a moon from Star Wars or something, I couldnt get the lighting right..but oh well
  20. The old Volvo didnt have much to give, but Snowcone was able to hold it flat on the straights... There was fair wack of booz consumed, but the real drinking didnt start until arriving in the UK. And thankfully i only control the photos of Saturday night

  23. Considering i spent $800 in one night on the piss...yeh its decent value
  24. Spa is a roller coaster ride, the straight up to Eau Rouge is down hill then all of a sudden you are going up. Its not as dramatic as one section at the Ring where the G's hit you in the guts as you go down then bck up at 160km/h....but its way more fun as after a few laps you can build up the confidence to drive Eau Rouge and some of the other downhill off camber corners. We were at the Ring on the 25th, Saturday
