  1. Baby steps. Working on a Saturday and really hoping your updates were going to pose more of a distraction for me
  2. LOL...NOOOOOO. An AC setup. Oh well...back on the hunt. If buyer stuffs you around then let me know
  3. No idea. There was a guy that had one in a rail chassis drag car..guessing that would be it. Anyway . Just slap it together and have a fun thrashing the thing
  4. Makes sense.... I have had an Accusump for about 10 years....its been mega sitting on the shelf Lol may actually finally be plumbed in over the labour day weekend
  5. Because who gives a shit about rpm.. road speed is where it counts!!! Lol, all you stroker big block RB boys would realise your better served by laggy RB20s that rev to 10,000rpm with 4.6 diff
  6. I certainly hope you haven't spent more than I have in the 21 years I've owned my truck Any pics of the internals of the Lewis Sump? Could understand problems at PI but Winton?
  7. Dry sump? What made you go to those lengths?
  8. Well Sandown was a bit of fail cake last weekend. Will dump the fluid tomorrow and see if there is any obvious reason why the gearbox has picked up some bearing noise
  9. You'd be miles quicker if you are aiming for 1:40 at PI Back around 2013 was my last time at PI. did a 1:48.6 from memory with 260rwkws and was still on 98 and the old engine. I O ly did two laps on E85 and I was 20km/h quicker on the straight but the front right kingpin bearing collapsed middle of turn 1...that started the 7year rebuild of all the suspension a d driveline Was going to PI this weekend but last weekend at Sandown revealed I need to fix a few things...some as stupid as needing a new dipstick I think my best at Winton back around the same period was 1:36.9 or something. I did a sub 1:36 at a Friday on RE55s but not on Natsoft so doesn't count https://youtu.be/m5KcwIN2kKI
  10. Maybe just a little ... But 270 km/h would be plenty... It hits 270 at Bathurst with more to go....not going to hit limiter at PI with 4.3 for more than a moment..but Bathurst would be a headache
  11. Cheap...$600 or something from memory. 2.2l will be a good thing... Compression and stroke will liven it up
  12. So Challenge Bathurst is on in 2021, is the bus going to be back together?
  13. YIKES. So where to from here? There was an RB20 NEO on Marketplace just before XMAS. I had to resist being me
  14. It has an R33 GTR read end and shafts so 4.11....wish I had kept 4.3
  15. Yeh...but bugger spending that on a 5spd.. I need a longer 2nd gear or shorter 3rd...use lol I need (want really) a 6speed
  16. What is dog shit with the Collins kit? Can't find an rb25 box , not even on Yahoo so need as a fix and the CD009 makes sense with a bit of bashing
  17. Some pics...been too long between drinks!!!!
  18. Ran out of brake pads with two sessions to go so missed the chance to have a proper go after getting familiar with the layout and the car...but oh well. There is always next year. You can see the lines of pad material that fell out of the wheels when I returned to the pits.
  19. Well , after a break in and some scum bags stealing a lot of gear from the car I have finally got it back up and running. Took +12 months to replace stolen parts and work around Covid...but....Just in time to make Bathurst last week Tidied upo the engine bay, freshened up the head with some light headwork, new headgasket and oil pump, sump and a lick of paint.
  20. I hear crickets....why don't I hear hits of big rpm and Trust goodness!!!!
  21. LOLs, its making the same as my T38 on the YB in my Cossie...i really need a new hair dryer for the old girl. Your setup is bang on what I want to piece together in a MK 1 Cortina. Looks a m int intall. Did you do the abrication?
  22. Looks neat. Seems us R32 owners are now the bird-dog owners with all the 31 owners going full bling instagram spec Keen to see this thing back and extracting everything the T67 can give !
  23. Yeh. When I ran a Plazmaman inlet on my RB20 on E85 and TD06 I made a decent enough 306rwkws. I note your inlet pipe goes where the battery once was which is easier than in the std GTR position like I ran mine...was but ache piping it to that position. I've done a few 120 deg pipe setups for std plenum and much a muchness to me these days.
  24. LOL, I ruined my car...too modified and just now too broke to thrash I changed back to std for what I thought was performance. Also so I could tell people its a std RB20 running -10s For my car which was pretty sorted for the std manifold going Plazman at 250-260rwkws hurt torque and mid range but did open up top end over 7,000rpm as it just kept pulling as std fell over. So when I pulled the TD06-20G off and went T67-25G I went back to std RB20 inlet and throttle body I am now running a very different setup on the std RB20 inlet with 2.5L and twin 2860-5s. The thing is surprisingly punchy for a non VCT 2.5L with twin -5s. Its actually way better power and response vs the T67-25G 10cm I now wonder now it has more airflow and a good 70-100rwkws more power whether going back to a Plazmaman would be a good upgrade. On my RB20 it didn't really work as I'd hoped.
  25. Did you ever run your setup with the std manifold before going Plazmaman? Wish I still had my subsription to RB20 wrecker life....being stuck, drunk in hotels for years with nothing to do but think up dumb shit and waste money ruined my car. At least my motor externally still looks like an RB20 LOL, part of the reason why I went back to std inlet manifold after selling my Plazmaman.
