  1. Mixed feelings about how he announced it. Good on him for being "no notice Webber" and doing it on his terms. But six for his mechanics and those close to him in the team to not hear it from him directly. I suspect the way he announced it has done him no favours with regards to trying to bag a few more GPs before year is out. Oh well...have to decide whether I go to Singapore, India or Japan. Most likely Japan...over India and street races suck for access and spectating!
  2. So as an indication what lap times are you doing at Sandown? Assuming you have desent semi slicks than if the car is doing sub 1:20s then I say you may be in the region that its time to chase reponse.
  3. I am guessing the original post could be an error in stating 10.5" and may be 9.5" ???????
  4. The right twin EFRs on an RB26 are animals...its just they are not easy to plumb and god knows if they are even available that the moment
  5. Any engine bay pics and underside pics of chassis rails etc Also some better pics of the interior?
  6. Before running off and question the brakes heck wheel alignment, you are running the same tyre type and condition front and rear. ..and check ride heights and condition of rear calipers. ...no obvious why an R34 doesn't stop straight and stable
  7. I may be dumb., but I aint blind! ... You keeping the leather dash? Only car on teh grid with leather dash and stereo!
  8. ...Red wheels. One step closer to being ready for the circus!
  9. Amazing work as always Richo! Can you comment on the z222 vs AO50s for grip, wear etc? Out of interest outside of the Berry R32 and R34 last year, what other GTRs got around the 1:34-35 mark ?
  10. What GTR do you have? It is not uncommong for R32s to struggle with the rear end and be less stable than R33/34s under brakes.
  11. That front diff and transfer case Richo put in is doing the job
  12. Good write up http://plus.autosport.com/premium/feature/5393/fia-tribunal-the-key-revelations/
  13. need these gone as taking up space in mates garage in Sydney
  14. time for cleaning up and living room deco-art unless someone buys it...offers
  15. Joke...slap on the wrists...I suppose as I suspected thats what happens when you are one of two manufacturer teams in the sport = protected species
  16. Needs more Cosworth parts!
  17. ...and rubbish global financial systems. Though another le Mans win with their tech and the new green series next year all provide funding to Williams Engineering ... if not Williams F1. Its a shame they had such a good car last year ... you wonder how much Toto and Gillan leaving rattled the ranks focus.
  18. He isnt looking at all like a race winner or even fast this year. That hat goes to the Finnish team mate
  19. Even Wiggins clamps still generally gain form use of a cable tie
  20. The VPW seem reasonable quality. I have not put them to the test re big pressures or anything but those OBX-Pegasus ones out of the US are a bit...well didnt trust them. Either take a punt with VPW or go the whole hog and just by the genuine Wiggins clamps. Plazmaman now do their own version as well and may be an option...perhaps sponsorhsop ?
  21. yep...oops
  22. As one of only two manufacturers with a team in F1...Nothing will happen to Mercedes today imo. They are a protected species, politically speaking!
  23. Awesome to hear it is running and well at that! So , have you given any thought to what the next car is going to be? Halves in an R300 kit that we can throw a S2000 motor in? Its not the same tinkering on my car and talking to myself. I should never have left Cliff behind in Portugal, he was always there for me and I just threw him away
