I would get your mechanic to diagnostics test to see if the O2 sensors are cycling. GTR's have two O2 sensors, if both are cycling (as in, you will se a graph with a line cycling up and down on the diagnostics computer) then they are fine. If ones out then change it. O2 sensors cost about $100 each + your mechanics labor, what ever they charge. As you know O2 sensors are there to make sure the car is not running too rich or too lean... Other then that, I check your fuel injectors, but I assume they are NOT leaking as you have just put new 700cc ones in... Check them anyway... Run your fuel tank low, put a bottle of injector cleaner in then fuel it up (BP Ultimate - my suggestion). Clean your air pods and get your mechanic to check your Air Flow Metres out. see how your go, as these are just the basics...

Yeah I read about that. What a terrible 1/4mile time... A stock R34 GTR runs 13.7secs best it can run is 12.9secs (Approx). The 2F2F R34 GTR was equiped with all the performance parts and probley had the NOS system hooked up, surely can do better than 13secs. Got no idea why it was RWD and they were not drifting it either... 4WD launch FTW!

You mean that DR/FT brand they sell at Auto Barn? Most ppl hate them on SAU as there was a thread about DR/FT exhaust systems a while back. I don't think its a JDM brand either and not many ppl bother with'em. There have been test done and 3A Racing air pods won over APexi, BLITZ, GReddy, HKS and K&N pod filters... Apparently so... 3A Racing is just another cheaper brand like Autotenica and Monza but does a good job for the price you pay... I had a 3A Racing pod and the glue melted and the filter fell off... Hah! I actualy like washing my filters, thats just me tho, as I'm seeing myself doing good to the car. Yeah big tuning garages in Japan use HKS so your right.

Yeah you are suppost to remove it during compliancing. Some compliance places just leave it and let them off with a bang at XMAS and New Years Eve! Hehehe!!! You could try a wecker or just go visit afew Japanese Import places and they might have some lying around.

SAU member Owgasm did that with his R33 GTR, transformed it into a R34 GTR but no scissor doors tho. It was such a great job, I could not tell when I 1st saw pics of his car. I thought it was just a R34 GTR with afew minor changes untill I saw his C-Pillar and rear quater windows.

True, I wash mine when doing a service then wash it when I have done about 3000km then again when its time for the next service in 2000km, General service every 5000km. Yeah APexi Pods looks the best IMO, always wanted them and they got the perfomance to up hold themselves. My HKS ones came with the car so I stuck with it. There are so many test out there some say they are good some bad... End of the day they so the same thing. So ppl don't like the APexi ones, most ppl love'em, it all personal preferance in the end. Filtration wise, hence the use of oil spray on the sponge filters to catch all the smaller particals of the HKS pods... Yeah looks like HKS got the shits with those results, but ppl still use'em... LOL!

Yeah awesome. I did hear something about S15 6 Speed (Getrag..?) are pretty weak... Or ppl are know to go through them easily... Anyway you have tuffen it up with the 5 Speed. All the best!

The R32 GTR is 400 PS The R33 GTR is 600 PS with 2.8lt stroker kit The R34 GTR is 600 PS The R35 GTR is Stock A very close race I must say. Would have been even tighter race if the R32 GTR was 600 PS. Although it was only 400 PS it was the lightest of them all. Keiichi Tsuchiya was saying the R35 GTR was loosing traction as the tyres were wearing in the last lap. Thats the down fall of the R35 GTR, its weight causes it to wear the tyres down fast while racing and pushing it to its limits. The MCR (Matchless Crowd Racing) R34 GTR is friggin awesome, from memory it has twin low mount Nismo LM Type Turbos, one step above N1 Turbos. They mostly comment on how fast the R33 and R34 GTR is. Just after the start of the race, the R34 GTR clips the R33 GTR and the R33 GTR driver is saying "Gee how rude of you" to the R34 GTR driver... They were only kidding with each other, nothing serious.

LOL! Yeah as they all do and yeah I clean out my own filters. I just use the K&N oil spray. Ppl think you need to spray a heavy layer, it not the case, just a light spray up and down is all thats needed, one thin layer.

A R34 GTR M-Spec = R34 GTR V-Spec II, they are the same car, performance wise, the main difference is softer suspension setting and black leather seats with gold coloured stitching and heated seats (from memory) they came in Millenium Jade colour and they were designed to be a luxury version R34 GTR. It was speculated that the "M" stood for "Man" Spec, more so for the "Mature / Grown Up" buyers as opposed to the "Racer" type buyers who go for the V-Spec's / V-Spec II's / V-Spec II N1's and the V-Spec II Nur's.

Are they a lot tougher than the standard 6 speed that the S15's come with?
