Bloody RB26's
At least i got a mention for the RB25 engines hehe
The Nitto part was great, answered a question i had about the crank etc as i want to stay with a high revving engine when it comes time for a build and was trying to work out what to do, seems like the RB26 crank will make mine 2.6L one day but can retain the high revs etc.... I like it
JEM have always been supportive and nothing but the best when it came to my car, i've told the story on here a few times but i was a nobody that walked off the street and spoke to them 2 years before they actually saw my car, during that 2 years they guided me with parts selection and the build along the way, once it was all ready to go i made the call and booked in the car, it was SO good to know that they were willing to assist me and share their wealth of knowledge all the way through and i hadnt spent a cent with them, it shows the passion for the modified cars comes first! Since that first time my car went in they have helped every step of the way, its been a long road but i am SO happy with the quality of work and also the education ive recieved along the way, its good to actually understand what is going on the car
The comments about the 1600cc injectors was in relation to my car, anyone that went to the SAU Nationals would know my car was missfiring and not running on the track, THIS was actually the Engine Protection in the Haltech that Adam kept mentioning. This engine protection has saved my car on 3 occasions now, 2 were fuel related and one was a blown radiator, the Haltech shut my car down before the temp gauge on the dash began to move.
The car is at 363kw and has done nearly 5000km that way, the setup is good for 400kw but that 3037 is out of puff..... But as Adam said, we have a few things up our sleeves
