  1. Ah nice! Thanks for letting me know Ill have to have a look and work out what to do...
  2. Haha oh yeah, i forgot we discussed that
  3. Awesome! Its the only change on my car and its sorted! This was my first thought too, but all checked out OK, fan was just rubbish!
  4. Lol no worries! I take pics of most stuff anyway so if it happens i am sure you will see it
  5. Lol i am sure you will need 5th at some track days Does your diff push oil out after a hard thrashing? I was told to relocate the breather higher and upways!
  6. I had a chat to my Diff/Gearbox guy today and he said it needs a freshen up! 4th is tricky at times too! Apparently the synchro on 5th is really small and normally doesn't have issues as its gently shifted on highway speeds, but once you start tracking and smashing it into gear i guess it will start to hurt Also, need to extend by diff and gearbox breathers in the near future!
  7. Damn I want pics and stuff once its done!
  8. Here is some more of session 2... Also shows 5th gear is starting to suffer, i keep getting a gearbox full of neutrals when trying to shift hard
  9. Lol it was only on gate pressure so not as loud as normal! Thanks man! Might be coming down for the day but the car wont be... Ill be saving it for some bigger events Hope so man! How is the new beast?
  10. It got like that after a while.... I tried short shifting gears and taking it easy but it was just too slippery so i just drove it Powercruise style after a few laps Its a good feeling to have it running properly that is for sure.... You think a return to SAU Nats 2 years later with some success?
  11. Anytime mate Just shoot me a PM if you need any info and ill do what i can to help!
  12. GTT and GTST are different so best to specify what its for! They are an epic bit of gear
  13. haha.... Good stuff! Plenty of options around though, if you want to keep it stealth the HG turbos are getting good numbers or you can low mount a billet 3071 etc
  14. Yeah once i can get it on a dry track and turn the boost up it will be some fun You looking after the black beast? Hope its going well...
  15. This is just a quick phone video from the roof at SMSP... You can hear the car coming around the back corners before you can see it haha... It was pretty slippery so was taking it pretty slow!
  16. Garage 34
  17. Nah felt no different to be honest.... I think with the BMC stopper and setup i had the pedal feel was already pretty solid so the feel was no different! I am sure it'll be better than it was in the long run
  18. So by the time i got there the first session was already on track, once i had signed on and done by drivers brief i had 4 mins worth of track time so decided to go warm everything up so Adam could check the datalogs etc... I went out and did a warm up outlap and by the time i was on the second the session was over... The logs showed only 215km/h on the straight but everything was perfect in terms of boost control, AFR, Ethanol sensor etc etc.... So i checked the tyre pressures and the fronts were over by about 10psi lol I was all pumped for the second session and planned to give it a good go, while talking to Adam from JEM i got the word that it was raining.... Walked out and it was pissing down We had the car on gate pressure which is only 16psi and from memory about 320 or 330kw or around that mark anyway, i got the car fired up for the second session and out we went... It was just like the top gear winter olympics special where they drove on an ice skating rink, it was shithouse!!! I tried to get the tyres warm, tried to take smooth lines but it was just sliding all over the place, not from the power, just the all round lack of wet grip... This is a lap in the wet, trying to take it slow and feed the power but it was just too spin happy - So to make the most of it i stayed out for the full 20mins of the session, it wasn't overly exciting as it was slow and slippery BUT it was exciting to finish a full session without any hiccups at all. The car traveled over 500kms including the track time and was faultless! Anyway, a dry line was starting to appear and i was pumped for session 3... but unfortunately it was a no go due to someone going off and dumping oil and crap on the track, by this stage there was plenty of lightning and rain and it was getting dark... Sucktacular!!!
  19. Unfortunately for us this weather report was pretty spot on -
  20. Matt (Deka) scored us Garage 34 which was appropriate -
  21. Finishing off the new boost lines to the gate, these are now a proper hose and are all heat wrapped and metal clamped so no more issues -
