  2. Good luck getting real results back from Nismo plenum owners, all you will get is a dyno sheet and seat of pants BS. Need to measure O2 in each runner for any meaningful data.
  3. A bigger volume plenum will make increasingly more power on a dyno... But it is not practical. What you want is even flow distribution, the Nismo is the most likely to do that. If you want to be a legend, flow test it first then put it in your engine with individual O2 sensors on each exhaust runner then report back what you find.
  4. They are machining their own wheel designs soon, up until now they have been mixing and matching from current manufacturers. Their bearing cartridge looks like a good design and there is logic behind it.

  7. Hi guys, Have a complete interior from a 1995 R33 GTR. This interior is 100% original and immaculate, has been very well looked after too since I have owned the car. THe following is included: - carpets - front and rear seats - door trims - roof liner - complete dash with cluster and all electrics/gauges - heater core - ... pretty much everything!!!! I will post up a price and some photos later this afternoon as I dont have the time to check to see what it would be worth right now. If anyone is interested and would like to see it still in the car please feel free to call or SMS 0407 801 338 Would be good to replace a ruined or worn interior or if you wanted to convert a car to a GTR interior. Will only consider selling it all together for the moment. Located in Adelaide but can post at buyers expense. Thanks, Mike

  13. I dont know who shot you down but I can say, I have asked a few big engine builders in the USA about raising the compression in my RB26 to 9:1 or higher and their comments were (in short)... "What for? What is the point all you will do is generate more heat and it will detonate with increasing boost levels" Depends what engine, fuel and what you want to achieve. But for my goals, lower compression and no quench is right for me.
  14. The compressor side is less sensitive to A/R changes than the turbine, what you got cooking Bobby? Better performance at higher boost levels...

  16. Wow that is a full on turbocharger Bobby I just realised...76mm inducer and 102mm exducer that should be nearing a four figure hp output.
  17. Allan, what bearing main and rod clearances are you going for? (sorry I missed it if it is written elsewhere)... also, what oil you intending on using once complete and run in?
  18. Hey Brad, done any killa half cages in R33 GTR's? It is the only hope I have of keeping it registered at some point in the future.
  19. Twice we agree in a week. I have LS2 coils on mine, I made a neat bracket too out of aluminium so all the coils sit inside where the valley cover goes and I run real short 10mm leads. Go the LS coils, the LS truck coils will deliver a huge spark... you can get rid of that ignitor too. More spark than you will ever need.
