  1. HKS F-Con should be able to read the signal from a Z32 AFM ok. The stock AFM can only read enough airflow for about 225kw whereas the Z32 is good for about 350kw. A tuner can work around this up to a point by estimating numbers but if a Z32 AFM is available it should really be used. I guess you are lucky to have found a tuner with the software to tune the F-Con at all! Good luck! (BTW what is an optional OSC?).
  2. Get them from a wrecker or go to Nissan and tell them to look it up in their parts books - should be the same as C34 Stagea as well
  3. I have a feeling they are the same - pretty sure I bought a set off a guy with a Skyline for my Stagea
  4. You can just use a bigger rubber pipe and step it down to stock. BTW ahem I have sold the bov but if you want one and can't get one locally PM me and I can probably pick one up for cheap.
  5. Have you tried advertising them in the for sale section of this site?
  6. No if you try to tune in 3rd it can kick down suddenly. Select 2nd - that cuts out 3rd and 4th. Turn on the "snow" switch - that cuts out first. Now you can tune in 2nd. BTW is it a 4wd rolling road? If not you need to remove the front driveshaft or your transfer case can suffer damage. Pulling the AWD fuse only works on the R32GTR not on a Stagea. What did you end up using for an ecu or are they going to provide and fit something?
  7. I can sell you a GTR bov for $40 posted! - Looks stock but much more robust. Uses same bolts and gasket but needs bigger outlet hose.
  8. Take it to a radiator shop - they should pressure test it for free and if the pressure doesn't go down then as above check water pump and radiator core. You should be able to tell if the pump is not recirculating the water. Lastly your thermostat might be stuck shut. Just buy a new stocker and replace it if you are going to the trouble of pulling the old one out (but test it any way to see if it was the problem).
  9. Are there no avenues for a personal import?
  10. I am sure you will be enjoying the extra power but I would have thought if you had installed everything on your list you would be somewhere north of 240awkw.
  11. No, stock ecu ran vct (and the auto which is one of the reasons it had to be retained)R32 ecu was just piggybacked on. It is a bit of a mission. If you have a manual why not look out for a cheap 2nd hand PFC? Z32 with Nistune would work but it has to be a particular model and of course the plugs don't line up so more soldering (or get an R33 loom)! Ideally save up for a Link/Vipec
  12. Also check the afm plug. Try to swap out a known good afm if you can get your hands on one. I presume the fuel filter on the end of the pump was changed or at least cleaned. Did you change the fuel filter in the engine bay? Do you have a S1 Stagea(series 2 R33 engine) or S2 (Neo engine)? I have a set of coils for the R33 engine: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441202-brand-new-oem-coils-set-of-6-mcp1330-2248-25u00-320/
  13. I have a set of OEM coils for S2: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/441203-brand-new-oem-coils-set-of-6-mcp1330-2248-25u00-320/
  14. Did you need to post that? Most people use an R33GTR box or an R32 GTR box for the manual conversion in a C34 as I did. It would be a logical step for the OP to have a look at an R33 GTR console and if he hasn't already I can save him the trouble because I have tried it and can report it doesn't fit.
  15. I'm just being helpful. Of course a Stagea console fits a Stagea - that's not especially enlightening.
  16. ? 5mm clearance is not fouling!
  17. You could get one of these (list is over $1k but I paid $700 for mine): http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/performance/electronics/auction-723458723.htm
  18. Motec is a great ECU but for rich people. It seems you get charged an arm and a leg to use any of the extra features.
  19. I think posters have done the opposite to what you are complaining about. They have not made definitive pronouncements about your engine or pretend to know whether it will last another 200,000km at 500hp on the basis of a posted photo. They just say they can't see any obvious major fault. Apart from looking down the bores there are objective tests you can do - compression test, leakdown test, actually measure the bores for wear and out of round, feel for piston movement up and down or side to side.
  20. Who sold it to you? You can get support from Link factory by phone or email.
  21. Either of the Link displays should work with vipec - if your agent doesn't sell them get them direct from Link http://www.linkecu.com/ or your nearest link dealer
