  1. Well I bought mine in Auckland so no use to you. You could order one from one of these Aussie suppliers: http://www.pipercross.net/fastroad/stockists_worldwide.asp?country=AU&id=9 From memory the afm bolts to the box and the hose fits the afm but since you have a pod now its not a priority tbh just look out for the bits at the right price when they come up.
  2. Just do the $10 mod to stop your intake pipe sucking shut (DIY here somewhere). If you want more power up your boost by 1psi. If your car is really stock get a high flow filter for your stock air box and next a 3in turbo back exhaust and then a Nistune chip. (And for better advice stick the car that you have and your home town in your profile)
  3. You asked for suggestions and the cost effective solution is an 82 rear for your current turbo - 44mm wastegate (run it off the turbo) modify exhaust to suit and retune. If you really want a sixboost and greddy (copy) plenum don't ask if its a good idea (you'll be told they are not necessary) just go and do what you want to any way with your money. If you have to have a FF plenum its a simple matter to change your brake master cylinder for a shorter one ( a drop in the bucket cf what you want to spend).
  4. ^^^ you wouldn't be the first! fans are normally set up to suck air through the radiator so if you have them on the front has the direction been reversed? No aircond should be a help. And shrouds are a must even if you have to custom make them. And fit a thermo switch - its not too hard. Also get an air diverter if you haven't got one already.
  5. Just on a side note it has been reported that the GTR transfer case has 6 lugs/pins pushing the clutch packs together while the Stagea (and possibly GTS4) has only 4 and might be lighter duty in other respects. Does your transfer case have the 6 lugs?
  6. Thermostat only determines when the water starts circulating. Once it is open it has no effect on max temps (only minumum temps in a very cold climate). Stock would be better as 70deg is not hot enough. Have you got a shroud for your fan? Fan doesn't do much without one.
  7. Why is it idling for ten minutes? Turn it off.
  8. ^^^^ As above - the best solution - I didn't feel the need to machine extra groove in my Bilsteins as they provided enough range for my purposes (road and track) but if you want more adjustment its cheap and easy to machine more. If you must change the springs there are a number of manufacturers making Stagea specific springs or springs that will fit eg Tein. Google will tell you your nearest Bilstein agent (what would Peddars know?!!)
  9. Get this (or one like it): http://www.skylinesdownunder.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62845
  10. I don't know how to fix your tune but can you get 200L drums of toluene or methanol and add a few litre to each tank full to up the quality a bit?
  11. No but try here: http://www.nismo.co.jp/en/misc/contact.html in NZ Cockram Nissan has access to Nismo products so maybe you could try a larger Nissan Dealer.
  12. The one that comes with the car! Or make one.
  13. Have a read of the nistune website. It lists a number of WA installers: http://www.nistune.com/ordering-distributors.php Also read the nistune thread on here. The panel filters are a common size - falcon, evo etc. I m using a Pipercross Px-PP1128 for about $100 there are K&N many others. Use the search button and use Google to ask questions (quite often you will be referred to this website!).
  14. Sell the fuel reg. bov and pod (get a high flow panel filter for your stock airbox) and get a Nistune, PFC or Vipec ecu. Posted Yesterday, 06:55 PM from the Stagea section (S2 Stagea same engine as GTT - stock fuel reg, bov and airbox): 3" turbo back, k&n panel filter, 10psi = 135kW Nistune, 11psi = 175kW Pretty happy with that. Much smoother power delivery too. Attached thumbnail(s)
  15. That's a pretty impressive gain. Was it just the tune or have you also added bigger exhaust, more boost or any other mods? Good advertisement for Nistune. - OK just saw your other post - now for an upgraded turbo!
  16. Put up your location on your profile - makes it easier for people to help you.
  17. Put the amps in the spare wheel well - get a full sized spare make a cover for it and strap it to the side of the luggage compartment.
  18. Have a read of this:http://www.racebrakes.co.nz/pdf/brake_upgrade.pdf and here is the Aussie site: http://www.racebrakes.com.au/
  19. Have you got a cold air supply or do you have a pod sucking hot air from the engine bay? According to our local turbo guru you need at least 700cfm to make 300kw so you can scale that up (but good luck getting flow rates for intercoolers - even the big names seem very shy about revealing theirs). Anyway here is a big intercooler for about AU$1000 by the time you add freight: http://www.trademe.c...n-368428027.htm or a big China one: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Car-parts-accessories/Performance/Radiators-cooling-systems/auction-369885702.htm
  20. Some kind of aftermarket heavy duty single plate cutch came with the R33 GTR box. I think the piston is the same size (you could check with yours) so thats all that matters really. My clutch was already pretty heavy as no booster.
  21. Did you have a ggod look at it? It's quite probbable that there are no circlips on the universals i.e. they are of the non-serviceable type - you are suppposed to buy a whole new shaft. I wouldn't worry about some slight corrosion but if you want new universals you could take it to a driveshaft specialist and they will machine out the old ones and fit new ones (and balance the assembly).
  22. I got an aftermarket Terrano clutch m/c (no room for booster) Terrano R50 30610-4W000
