  1. Thanks for that was looking for it and couldnt find it.
  2. Just wondering if anyone knows the laws for towing with a strap in victoria is it legal? considering if theres a person in the towed car and the brakes and steering is operational?
  3. Go a 215/45 if your worried 40 will be to much stretch or just go a 225
  4. Just stick a good quality lift pump in there and get rid of the stock one will prob cost the same as going through this trouble of adding a sensor and it should be reliable.
  5. In regards to which clutch you should buy it is basically a question of do you have any future plans for more power or what is your future power goal and get a clutch to suit that. But with the setup listed something like a heavy duty exedy clutch for a few 100 will be more than enough. For the other mods youve listed coilpacks only need to be done if your ones are stuffed and z32 wouldnt really be needed until you probably do your turbo and start pushing more power where your stock afm is at its limits but the fuel pump would be worth replacing if you want to do it for piece of mind but again for that setup you listed not essential.
  6. Also check the turbo feed and return oil lines.
  7. Youll pretty much have to use your own L brackets or whatever else you need to make it fit its nothing to hard. The only ones that are bolt in are the jap ones that are model specific. Some usual places people mount them on the side in the guards or infront of the the radiator.
  8. Just wondering how bad this looks and whether worth taking it off.
  9. Nice will be good to see some more gtx results on a rb25 although the rear housing worries me as they have given people alot of trouble in the past. Any particular reason why you decided to go with thermos rather sticking with the stock clutch fan setup?
  10. Yep perfectly normal for the gates belts to be louder than standard same on everyones.
  11. I find it almost impossible to get the oil to 80 degrees in a oil cooler without a thermostat in mine 30-40min driving in average weather like 25 and I could not get oil temp over 65-70 so I would think for a street car you would really need one.
  12. If you want to use it for drifting in stock forms the rb25 and rb26 the 25 will be more reliable as the 25 arent effected as badly by oil starvation and while drifting the oil is going to be thrown around everywhere. I would rather a single turbo like a 3071 or 3076 with 300kw on a safe tune which is perfect for a r33 drift car similar to my setup than going a twin with the 26. In regards to wanting to put a 26 head on the 25 bottom I dont really see any worthwhile gains youll have for one youll lose vct. Imo stick with the 25 slap on the usual bolt ons, chuck in some 256 poncams if you want to beef up the midrange a bit and tune on e85 for a safe 300kw all day everyday cheapest and most effective way for a r33 drift car.
  13. ohhhh that doesnt sound good if you were cranking it with the belt skipping very possible had some impact there, hopefully you got really like and dodged a bullet.
  14. There popular because there direct bolt in, retain vct and are big enough for most setups without having to have big compromises when compared to stock cams so good alround performance gain.
  15. Go for the mocal one driftworks sell ,good vaule for money.
  16. Yeah its just the gate belt they always make the whirring noise nothing to worry about.
  17. Ive got around that power range and chucked in the 256 poncams and I consider it worth it, beefed up the cars midrange heaps and a little bit in peak of about 10kw.
  18. I would sell the tiens and go something like bc racing coilovers there reasonably priced and the spring rate on them isnt to harsh for the street youll also have damper control.
  19. which fly wheel are you using? as the 30 and 25 is different so clutch is diff.
  20. Or if you get the kit from US can pick it up with pump belt tensioners seal for 250 shiped.
  21. ARTZ I agree with you on the penrite hpr cant beat it for vaule im probably going to make the shift from motul 4100 to hpr1560 since its 15 bux a bottle cheaper and since its 1 a month is a good saving. Its pretty much same as 4100 so wont be problem for e85. Nick running edge in a daily e85 car will be fine if you swap every 5k, dailys have less issues with the oil on e85 as they spend alot of time not running dailys run constantly so every 5 k is perfect.
  22. So what the price of the ss3 with external gate on the housing?
