Just wondering what spec your car is. There should be a build plate on the firewall. That would give some clues to what has been done. Looks very clean. It would be worth keeping.

Can you explain it a bit more. Otherwise it could be the icon is not highlighted by the joy stick. It could be that function has been disconnected. Check out some you tube vids might show you where to navigate each screen.

The speed sensor would probably be ok when replaced. Next step would be to see if you get 0-5v at the ecu at pin 53. Then at least you know the signal is or isnt getting to the ecu.

Everything is reversible. The supply to the xenons come from an igniter. All they are really doing is using the supply that turns the igniter on to supply the new globes. The plugs are different so they have to be cut and joined.

If they both stop working at the same time then it probably would be the speed sensor from the gearbox.

Ive only used them once. They let me try the part on my car to see if it worked before I bought it. Most people wont say anything bad on line if thats what you want to know.

You cant cut up the old dash. The circuit board is intergrated with the radio. Cut a hole in it then you wont have AC controls

Send a message to the supplier that you made a mistake. Try anything to get out of it. They shouldnt even be aloud to make them.

I hope you didnt get the metra kit. You should be able to get a ribbon from a jap wrecker.

Some wreckers might have a ribbon for the screen. Is it broken or just come out. If your radio and aircon arent working then you have probably damaged the other ribbon beneath the radio which powers the front facia.

One is for a rb20det and one is for a rb25det. That is the difference.

Ok so there is power by the sounds of it. It has to be the ribbon that goes up and down with the screen?

You cant, He all ready has someone in Sydney doing the conversions for him. He was just trying to come up with a better solution that may be cheaper. I was told its exspensive to set up the gear to do it. Hence why only Sydney do it. They have a bigger market.

It might only be there if the tv button was pressed. Do your buttons beep when you press them. If you press the buttons and nothing happens then its not getting power. What happens if you press the eject button on dvd rom? You will help me work it out if you answer those questions

You will have to remove dash to get to it. Check there is power at the plug going into the back of tv first. Then there is a flexible ribbon out of that which goes in the back of the screen. Do any of the buttons beep when you press them? Sometimes the TV can be left in the VTR/AUX which will leave the screen black if nothing is plugged into it.

Who would of thought that. If your still having problems with screen it could be the ribbon in the back of it thats broken from going up and down.

I spoke to the Russian today and he said that even thou it is a costly exercise he is working on a cheaper solution. He said I needed advanced soldering skills for the current option and its exspensive to buy equipment to do it.

If i wasnt taking my car i would offer to take yours.
