  1. Should be good, steer clear of chinese copies. I had one [water pump] installed [i was away from home base at the time] and it only lasted 12 months.
  2. And how long would he last being on P's with a turbo car!!! Po Po would be all over him like Pell on a choirboy!!!!
  3. Was it shuddering? If not then leave it. Sometimes those hot spots can go deep. I had this done once [machining] and it caused other issues with throw out etc. Ended up having to get other stuff machined as well......ended up being almost easier and better if I'd bought a new clutch in the end. Wasn't on a Skyline though.
  4. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbo-Kit-Mini-Electric-Turbo-Supercharger-Kit-Air-Filter-Intake-for-All-Car-Mot-/121815373249?hash=item1c5cc315c1:g:DW4AAOSwwbdWGmdY...........POWA!!!! Search dude, its been covered heaps and short answer is........as Ben said 'Don't do it.'!!!
  5. Easy for me Earthbound by King Crimson, most will hate it. And couldn't find a good copy of the album, just too old and too much on the fringe I guess.
  6. Its probably the Borsh fuel pump choking on the gravy Is it Bosch or Borscht cos it can have a huge effect. But seriously think about checking your fuel pressure and see if your pump is still OK. Sounds a bit like fuel starvation to me.
  7. The wastegate and bolt setup sounds like the turbo I had when I bought my Gts25t. I got it hiflowed and it made 245rwkw but was a teeny bit lightswitch - almost deadly on a wet day. I ended up going for a turbo with a better spread of power.
  8. AC/DC with Bon Scott at the helm years ago at Wagga...........best ever!!!! [And I've seen them 3 times since]. Thats when they were dirty, brash, and loud. Worst Lucinda Williams at the State Theatre 2010??.......my missus liked her and I really liked her Live at the Fillmore double CD [she reminded me of Neil Youngs Live Rust which was another great album]. Was that zonked out she could only just manage to stand up, and had to keep reading her lyrics from an auto cue. We felt like asking for our money back!!!!
  9. Now I am sssooo glad I organised the group buy, 15 less sales to UAS [no love]. Plus we were a bit cheaper as well.
  10. Exactly where is it 'blowing white smoke'? Split fires won't help if its out the exhaust [they are a good product, have them myself], but white exhaust smoke is burning coolant. If its just out of the valley, then you don't have a problem really. Vented bonnets and washing the engine bay lets water collect on the valley and it steams up as the engine heats up. But you never seem to get rid of it all, usually you have to soak it up with a rag or sponge.
  11. You got water leaking into a combustion chamber overnight [or when you leave it parked for a while. Its only a small leak [for now] and when you get going you cant see the vapour, or as it warms up the leak closes up. Probably not all the way but smaller anyway. Whatever you have its only going to get worse.
  12. Well I say nothing they did ever compared to Teardrop, the rest were poor attempts in my opinion, barely raised a ripple, so still one hit wonders in my books. I'd also like to say Boomtown Rats - Tell me Why I don't like Mondays, but I'll probably get told they also had a string of hits [i can't remember any of them so they must have been good].
  13. Katrinna and the Waves - Walking on Sunshine Massive Attack - Teardrop Album - The Poor, was a top hard rocking aussie album but then crickets and frogs [the silence was deafening]?
  14. Or Enigma - The Cross of Change
  15. Will look it up, thanks Prank.
  16. Ok, not talking torrents or illegal downloads here, and not promoting one band or singer or business. The music has to be free and legal with multiple streams and artists. Please state genre and age in your answer so we all know what to expect. One I visit a lot is: http://soundaboard.blogspot.com.au/ genre is mixed but leaning more to blues and heavy rock. Live performances by many well known artists that are outside copyright. Predominantly '60's to 2000's. I like it because you often hear good live improvisations and solo's that haven't been recorded elsewhere.
  17. Lol I'm liking too many replies here, really good thread, I could tick 'em all!!! One [of many] other Miles Davis - Bitches Brew, I am not into jazz much, and I only 'discovered' this 1969 album recently, I could become a jazz fan if all jazz was like this album.
  18. Also bought this about 12 months ago from Germany. Great for rivnuts in hard to get at places, does both nuts and threads. Not sure if the address is the same business, I just found it and used it for the photo etc. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nutserts-Nutsert-Setting-Tool-M6-M12-Riv-Nut-Rivnuts-Rivet-Thinsheet-PNT210-/230986691661?hash=item35c7e1344d:m:mf7e5tV-YTV5NApZL8tut9g
