  1. white smoke is usually coolant, blown turbo or head gasket??? Blue is oil, and you can smell the difference as well. But that low oil pressure is a big issue. You should have +50psi, best you got is 12. When cold would be 80-90.
  2. Not a long shot at all..............2009 to 2016!!!
  3. Get your battery tested at any battery world or autoelec shop. They will be able to do a load test and tell you if its OK. Clean terminals and install new or reinstall. Check your earth strap to chassis and then check earth strap to the motor. Easy way to check is to use a jumper lead and go from the chassis to the motor - make sure they are both good solid connections with no insulators like gaskets etc. The lifting ring or exhaust mani is good . Check your leads to the starter motor, undo and clean then redo. If you cannot here any sound from the starter then its the solenoid not throwing out. If you here a click/clunk then the solenoid is fine and your starter motor is probably toast.
  4. For all those still waiting, IM are closed till 4th January. I will contact them and start introducing you etc after this date. I will probably wait a few days and let IM catch up first though.
  5. Whiteish smoke ....not coolant/water is it?
  6. You the only one up at 3???
  7. Hope I answered you in the PM SCRMER, it will be all good very soon I hope. I will talk to IM and see what the go is. And thanks Hadouken......good to meet up even if it was at midnight under a seedy street light If we didn't know any better you'd think it was a 'deal going down'
  8. And without a Nistune or am ECU [or a bender like a SAFC} gains are minimal for any turbo swap. Also you have an RB20, so low down torque is not going to improve probably as much as you would be looking for.
  9. I had to drive on Hume Highway in 2012 on the day of the big bushfires..........48'C. I couldn't go over about 85km/h. Oil and exhaust temps would just soar into the danger zone if I did. Actually had a Highway Patrol car follow me for 30km waiting for me to do something wrong and just as I came into Holbrook - and it was two way traffic - a 4wd going north caught his interest so it was lights on and a quick U turn and he was gone. My aircon actually stopped working it got that hot!!! So I'm with Kinks, poor Skyline being boosted on a 44'C day!!! Remember your Skyline is an old car 10-20 years old in fact. Have a look around you and see what other 15 year old cars look like - most are ready for the tip!!!
  10. And of cause Ikeya in Melb is way different to Ikeya in Sydney??? Be pouring rain on Boxing Day, so maybe umbrella's? And the same, Merry Xmas to all, Santa got me a couple of under bonnet mats Now just need the Hadouken sleigh to bring it on home!!! BTW how big are the boxes?
  11. Is the fuel pump running, can you hear it prime when you turn the key? Does it sound right/ Sounds like a fuel starvation thing, fuel filter, regulator, pump thing to me?? Check you have fuel getting to the motor.
  12. What ECU do you have? You won't know what you have till you get the turbo off.
  13. Your married aren't you!!!!
