  1. I searched and searched and couldn't find what I was looking for. Spun bearings, vibrating balancers, Ross balancers, how to remove etc but no check!!! How can you tell if your harmonic balancer has spun??? I want to check if my harmonic balancer rubber has moved [not collapsed but is on the way out] and need a way to check? My tuner has asked me to check before I get it on the dyno. I know my timing marks line up Ok but this may not be the best way. Or if somebody has a link to it then much appreciated.
  2. Been waiting to say this................... The Group Buy is now closed!!
  3. Latest: What I sent: > Hi Aaron, > > Attached is the info you requested. Also attached is the original XL file > filtered to only show those who are still waiting on mats. > > Can you please let me know when these guys can approach you and obtain > their mat. Their reply: >Thanks mate, basically we'll send everyone an invoice for their postage and once paid, will post them out. So basically, unless there is an issue, my involvement stops here. Good luck to those of you still to get yours yet, and again thanks to Hadouken for the service he provided to NSW buyers.
  4. Not a GTR but I had a similar...and got to thinking yours could be the same??? A really bad uni joint will do this, you creep up to 100KPH and through it and you are ok till you hit a pothole or something then it goes berserk. Back off get it under control and then you can go again. But if you accelerate hard it happens straight away. Anyway just a thought, check your uni joints.
  5. Might have to start up a GoFundMe!!! Nice example and hot in red.
  6. I used spiral wrap on the hoses where they touch anything. As jiffo said s/s braid will wear through everything over time if you don't route or wrap.
  7. All have responded now. I have sent this info on to IM. Please wait for my confirmation on this GB thread before approaching IM..........
  8. Thats a little unfair............I held up one week for a couple of late GB's to jump on board, we got the discount because of that, we ordered, it takes a week or two for the order to be filled, 5-6 weeks for the container to arrive, we had two weeks of Xmas New Year, IM are presently working on half staff [they have holidays too] and I'm doing what I can to help make it happen. What I don't want is for Import Monster to get half truths and stories. That is generally why I wait until all have responded. Its not a part that keeps your car off the road, your old one is generally still there anyway. And to top it all off I have set deadlines after my patience has ran out.........I said we would order irrespective and did, and I will wait till the end of the week for the last person to respond then irrespective I will send IM your details. And just to be clear...........I'm getting nothing out of this, I didn't even know IM until this order, and still barely know them and probably never will. If everyone has just a little more patience we will see it through.
  9. I'll say it once.............weld it shut, That'll teach it to open!!!
  10. One to go.............
  11. Two to reply to me...then I can inform IM.
  12. Some products like barsleak/chemiweld etc are a milky white when added to the radiator to stop leaks. probably need to rule that out first. But you said you did a flush??? Was this drain and refill the radiator etc?
  13. Reply Received: Hey Buddy sorry first week back and two blokes down (out of 4) so we've been under the pump big time, but we'll be able to get stuck into this next week. I need the following Identifier (user name) for the order Real name Delivery Address Email address Contact number Cheers, Aaron IMPORT MONSTER So I will contact those that do not yet have a mat and get this info and send to IM. After that you should be able to talk to IM directly and sort out your delivery.
  14. or to put it another way, the RB20 has limitations so enjoy it for what it is. When finished swap out/trade up to an RB25/26 which also have limitations but you will find it much harder and heaps more fun to explore them.
  15. I emailed them only this morning and am waiting on a reply. Once they are ready I will begin intro's for you all so you can arrange delivery.
  16. Means your solenoid is not throwing out.so your starter motor is turning over but not engaging the ring gear. Its generally a simple fix, remove the starter motor, clean the solenoid and dry lube then replace. Any autoelec can do it.
  17. I use the pedestal vice in my shed, but anything will do it, then squeeze a feeler gauge in and see how you go. Basic feeler gauges are cheap, tools are minimal, so no excuses. And learn as you go.....
  18. Didn't overfill it....simple but you never know if you don't ask!!! And is it white or blue smoke?
  19. No video..........but I hear that Nicobate patches work if your quitting!!!
  20. Look up dry solder joints on AFM..........there is a thread on this. Not saying its your problem but a few ppl have had to take their AFM apart and re solder the joints. I've never had to do it....just know it exists
