  1. It's the Golf/woman's insurance company who won't cough up right?
  2. I'm thinking, who are you insured with?! I hope it's not the same as me! Please PM me if you get the chance. Something lke this is enough to start looking elsewhere. What a crok of shyz !
  3. You should check this out..... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/photopost...500&ppuser=8870
  4. A mate had problems with his after he bought it. Ended up being a dodgey repair of the wires where the door joins to the car. Check those too.
  5. With me knowing a whole diddley squat about shockies, it's time for my useless input. Looking at the letters, I was sort of guessing that maybe HR would be for Racing while HS whould be for Street aswell as what was mentioned above.
  6. No problemo, probably go to Gordon Leven. Might be awhile depending on how long it takes to get em Thanks dude!
  7. Thanks for that dude. That was a great read! I can't believe your car got in there on a holiday. And that rusty story was great too. never heard of such a thing!
  8. Penrith is definatley do-able ! I'm in Gosford but commute to Sydney. Parents up the mountains too so a drive to Penrith would be fine. Haven't got the stuff yet but if that's an offer, I'll definately take it.
  9. Hey guys, Might be getting myself a new suspension set-up thru the group buy section soon. Anyone know how to fit the things? Or where a good place to do it at a reasonable price? Beer or other goodies could be up for grabs if someone wants to do it. Thanks!
  10. Headin towards the HS's by the way
  11. Thanks skylinegeoff, I guess what i should have said is, will they be OK for Sydney road conditions. I want a bit lower, a bit stiffer and maybe a few track days here and there. Alot of people get the Tein's ans sell them cause they are way too stiff. That's my main concern. So, ok for road use you think?
  12. Anyone heard much about these? Are they for track/drift or road pruposes? How would they hold up in Aus/road conditions?
  13. If you can bargain 26990 down to 22900, i don't think you need anyones help at all! I'll be asking you for tips in the future.
  14. Eaisest would be a K&N high flow airfilter. I wouldn't bother with pods and cold air induction kits, it's already a cold air induction as is. A nice $100..to easy ...for starters anyway....hehe And the best advice without a doubt is to keep searching and reading and re-reading these forums. It's the best for learning all sorts of stuff Some people even do stuff for you for a case of beer !
  15. Yeah, i know what you mean. I just picked one of them (either), although, i think i did a bit of a search thru the forums and each wire handles 3 pistons, wire 1 the front 3 near the grill, and 2 the back three near the driver......i think from memory. ..and apparently the back 3 have the most 'noise' so i chose that one. Just pick either one, and most people think the value coming out of it is total crap anyway so i wouldn't be too worried about it. If your getting the SAFC dyno tuned (i did), they listen for pinging anyway without using that readout value. (Heaps of info on the SAFC if you do a search) Catchya!
  16. Make that 4 ! They were only made up until May 1998 (i think) so only 5 months production, then the 34s. Only differences i know of are the badge on the seat and the back pillar. But yeah, bragging rights and good to know you've got a newish R33. (well, the newest you can get really)
  17. You in Sydney? Pics?
  18. That's what i was the thinking. The HICAS control unit to control the 4WS Well, at least you can give a sigh of relief when you pull the panel back and see a box nearly identical to the Power FC ....Have fun!
  19. Ummmmm, the Power FC looks right, but.....ummmmm..... Are you looking in the boot for your ECU????? It's behind the passenger foot panal guard. And yes I am a bit of a newby....so what does OEM mean????
  20. Good one dstylez! Did you notice much difference in feel/power?
  21. The Lone Ranger and Tonto are riding along and hear a strange noise in the distance. Tonto jumps of his horse and put his ear to the ground....... Gets up and exclaims proudly "Buffalo come" "How did you know that?" says the Lone Ranger "Face sticky"
  22. The cooler is 'supposed' to be a TRUST one but i wouldn't be suprised if it's a Hybrid with trust painted on the front, well they have good feedback anyway. Not a fan of the Trust pained lettering but I'll just turn it around i reckon. Just want to know it's a brand name one. Didn't cost much more than a Hybrid cooler but I'll give further details if it comes thru ok. I'm still waiting after paying about 3 weeks ago. If it doesn't turn up, I'll give em a good baggin' !!!! Fingers still crossed................
