You have got to be kidding me! I have the same model as you, the 40th an edition and already bought the standard FC and Controller from nengun. Surely this isn't right??? I hope not or i've wasted my time and money and will have to flog it off to someone. I thought it was just the extra badges n stuff? Most docos i've seen quote the series 1 and series II engine/ecu types and that's it. (plus quote the year/month released) They dont differentiate between series 1 and 1.5, or anything about the 40th aniversary edition. Fingers crossed.

I've seen a few home jobs on the intercooler piping which look pretty cool and wanna do the same. There's some donut 2.5" pipes on ebay every now and then but where do most of you guys get the standard pipes from? Sydney location? And how much would you expect to pay for the piping to go back under the cooler to the original in/outlets. Thanks guys.....

I have the single stage T-piece Turbosmart boost controller, the one you adjust under the bonnet. Had it dyno tuned a few months ago and did not fluctuate more than 1psi. Got the print out at home. Really happy with it !

I thought you;d be able to get em alot cheeper than that? (the 30k) There's one on ebay which looks alright for 22k and apparenlty has nismo turbos. I'd be checking that out

I bught mine the same way you did. Someone imported it and i bought, so second owner in Aus but 1st registered on road owner. The don't bother with REVS comments.....just do it man! I did even though it was just in. It doesn't hurt and takes you a whole 5 mins of your life! ...and its free.

I was going to try hard at contradicting this thread and then i saw "Sydneykid" :Oops: ...anyway, sureley the more you boost, the more air the engine is chewing etc. therfore more airflow. I mean, how do you get to 240 rwkws anyway...and then 320. probably by boosting it to 15psi and then 25psi or something and needing more airflow, and bigger airflow meter.....thats what i thought anyway. :headspin:

I'm no expert, but if you haven't even boosted the car up a bit, a can't see how your are maxing out the airfow meter???? Nearly everyone is boosted to around 10-12psi (I'm on 10) and I haven't heard of upgrades for that for those levels. Is there some sort of set up within the Power FC for which meter you are using, maybe u picked the wrong one??? Guessing of course bt doesn't seem right to me.

I have one of the above which I've used for about 1 month while overseas. It's an Australian model. I basically got a phone upgrade fromm Optus for the sake of it, didn't really need a new phone but if they're giving me one, that's fine by me. I was going to try it and then sell it and make a few bucks and keep using my old one. So that's what I've done, just used it for my overseas trip to send photos and now gone back to the old Nokia. As new condition, prefer a Sydney buyer to deal with face to face but can send if you like. I have all original boxs, cables etc. $400 ono, make an offer. I assume you've found the cheap Power FC as i did a few days ago. Well i paid my money on the 5th or 6th i think, straight into his Aussie account. I now have an EMS tracking number and it's either in the air or landed in Australia. Doesn't take long by the looks of things. Can't wait! He has an extramely good reputaion on this forum. He is one of the sponsors and you can see his add sometimes flashing up the top. If he was no good, the moderators on this forum (at a guess) would not let him operate/advertise through these forums. I'd go for it man!

No surging when slowing down. And all seems fine around town too, even on short brake runs. Just major shudders from high speeds ...sucks big time.... Gives me something extra to check out anyway as i don't know about these things. Also had someone suggest check out your calipers. So got 3 things to check now. 1) The ABS (for me anyway) 2) The master cylinder 3) The calipers. Must be getting close....any more suggestions are very welcome. Thanks for your replies guys

Also think about cleaning the inner rim. Bit's of clogged up dirt can wreck your balance, acting just like a bit of lead they use to balnce it. I had a wheel balance once then on the way home a here this clunk on the left wheel. What the??? Then clunk on the right 10 kms later Well that was a waste of money.....hehe

Heh guys, Second time at Wakefield Park and still wobbling under big braking. When i bought it, it nede new pads and machining on all 4 wheels so thats done. I had a day at Wakefield and there is shocking vibrations under heavy braking! Right, search the threads and chat to people on the day. I change the brake fluid which i think improved braking with daily driving and hoped that would be the end of it. Went to Wakefield yesterday and still Major wobbles under heavy braking. After one round, i head into Goulburn and get a front wheel balance and tell the guy. He says the usual sory, maybe need to machine the brakes and new pads. Surely i wouldn't need to do that again after 8-10 months?! So, i tell a guy at work and he thinks maybe the ABS could be faulty in some way. Happened to him a few years ago, got it checked out, tweaked a bit and fixed it. Does that sound right to you guy? Or is there something I can do myself? Anyone else had the same problems? It's all fine around town etc just when doing huge braking. Takes a bit of fun out of my track days thanks!

Unfortunatley i don't have a digital camera. Okay....now... Here is a pic of another one that is NOT MINE. It's a series 1 (mines series 2) *** IT'S JUST TO ILLUSTRATE SCRATCH LEVELS *** The following pic does have scratches, and one particular bigish scratch. Mine is WAY better than this one. Overall scratches are less and lighter and there are no big scratches at all. So if the one pictured satifies you, so will mine cause it's heaps better.
