  1. If warren is in em. It will be him then daylight to ayres
  2. Warren is entered in Modern according to the TWP site. Benny: Not running cause the engine is stripped and getting machined atm, $$$$$$$$$$$$, and the roads don't interest me. Dad is running his slobaru though High country front runners don't often translate into front runners in Tassie (unless they have had previos experience)
  3. he convert his emo to a 7?
  4. I thought he was only promoted while Glenney's licence was being held hostage
  5. should be good to see brendo with some compition
  6. My rotors and pads are barly used on the gtst either. Helps that we're stopping 300-400kg less than the gtr's
  7. I used Pagid once, but moved to Hawke. We've always ran HT10's in the R33, and I've been running them in the gtst. I found the Pagids started to disintergrate when they got low on pad material.
  8. how much did it set you back, and what brand is it? I thought the Haltech ones only came in 2 and 4 channel
  9. you running 6 channel egt?
  10. The Nissan manual says to put the engine on TDC and loosen the nut on the tensioner. Do 2 full laps of the crank and stop back on TDC. Then tighten the nut on the tensioner (use an allen key to hold it in place). I've done it this way on 3-4 cars now, and it works a treat
  11. I setup a RB26 PFC on a gtst (single AFM with parraled wiring). I put the AFM curve into excel from datalogit for the appropriate AFM (Z32 in this case), and 1/2'd the values. the PFC doesn't average the 2 AFM's, it add's them together.
  12. Dropping the rear to full soft should help. Do you know what the knobs on your shocks adjust? bump only, bump & rebound combined, or rebound only.
  13. and fit an alarm
  14. The engine development freeze is what killed them, their last engine from 2-3? years ago is what they had to run with. they did get to make some improvments, but missing 3 years woth of data hurt them.
  15. I've been told that changing the dump on a m35 is not a fun task at all
  16. From looking at your car at the last drift round i went to, it looked way too stiff everywhere (for curcuit). Probably want softer springs, and wind the shocks back. What swaybar to you have?
  17. Anyone in Melbourne able to drive a car from Toll to Searoad for me (15km)? Payment will be in knowing that you helped me, and getting to drive my car before me

  18. Would moving the tank forward be an improvment? R32's are so nose heavy, you want to move as much weight as far back as possable to compensate. i'm 99% sure the only reason the R33+ have the tank infront of the rear axel is because they had to for rear end crash protection sasfty standards. A better designed tank would be great for track 32's. I run a R33 P/S pump on my car, the other option is to run Astra electric pump in the cabin. I don't run a cooler, never boiled the P/S system, even in my GT-R.
  19. Just so you know, you need to do a fair bit of modification to the RB26 lower coolent bar so the setup will fit. My mate and I have made adapter plates for our cars (RB20 & RB25DE).
  20. Apparently the flames are just as hot at a club day as a race meet..... i find that hard to believe
  21. more power, less aero is the go
  22. If DRS was used like the F-duct was (everywhere on the track, leading or following), it would be 1000% better. All it does it give a free pass to the following car. Towards the end of the season you saw the leading drivers didn't put up a fight most of the time. Passing is not meant to be easy, IMO the whole push to pass concept is crap. If the cars weren't tied down to such tight rules, the cars would have different strengths and weaknesses, and that will give more overtaking.
  23. gayer than a handbag full of rainbows
  24. you can't just go jamming a big pole in there to start with, you need to work upto it with smaller poles. It'll get pissed of if you go jamming big poles in small holes
  25. I can take some. It was pretty easy, on the back of the pump there is 6-10 big phillips head screws. use an impact driver to get them off, cover lifts off, gears slip out easy, put some vasoline on the new ones and slip them in. Loctite, and impact driver the cover back on. he pressure was 110psi, as it was just running a normal N1 releaf spring. I will enlarge the oil restricers, and drop the pressure back to 65-75psi with the new engine.
