  1. Lol, figured as much, I just like that owl...
  2. I've seen that one a few times out that way in the past; it has AXIS rims on it right? Always gives the cold shoulder...
  3. Group Buy is officially closed. Thanks to all who got involved; much appreciated. Order was placed today; we should be delivering by late this week/early next week. Cheers, Dale.

  6. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/378896-the-15th-anniversary-stagea-cruise-wrap-up-thread/ Also just spotted Rosella coming through Faulco with lights flashing and frantic waving to attract the attention of the blind Stag driver... Saw you this time.
  7. Mike, this was the reason for my reply. Naturally, I assumed you hadn't looked at the subframe & seen the factory adjustment is exactly that. No sarcasm. No, the bolt in the hub is not eccentric, and it's actually bushed in the hub too. The back arm is a toe adjustment arm. For anything up to around 2" lowered the OEM eccentric will likely suffice. Depending on how low you drop the car; the toe can end up being so far out that you cannot use the OEM eccentric bolt to adjust. This is normally at stupid "fitment' and "stance" brah ride heights. For normal people; a more "eccentric" (more adjustment) eccentric will do. This is why they slot the hole in the subfame out a little more. If that's not enough; you can move to the length adjustable arm; as per the dolts in that video who seem intent on using a power driver to undo every bolt, regardless of whether it saves any time, or is actually any easier. With length adjustable arms; I have no idea why these guys feel the need to ALSO fit eccentric bolts; if it were me, I'd set the eccentric in the centre of its range, and finetune the arm length on a wheel aligner. Then you can make small + or - adjustments with the eccentric. But hey; I don't use a power driver on pre loosened bolts either...
  8. Great photos there everyone; What a top day out! First time for an SAU event; I'm hooked! I'll definitely be coming along to another one, picked up an SAU membership form too. Well done to everyone involved, it's easy to see why these events attract so many people. Was great putting some faces to the many names; see you next time. Cheers, Dale P.S. Thanks for the beer Alex.
  9. Considering the rear arm already uses an eccentric bolt set up; I don't really see the issue. This method of adjustment is commonplace; many cars use it without issue, and the slotting that they do in this instance is to add MORE adjustment to the existing range available.
  10. Yep, was awesome seeing the line of Stageas stretching into the distance.
  11. No, it was a little Toyota of some description. All the glass was out, but the roof looked pretty intact. There was a bunch of people milling around and the Firies & Police had already showed up. Not nice to see upside down cars though...
  12. Thank to everyone who had a hand in organising the event; great job all round! Was a really well managed cruise; I've been on Motorbike cruises that degenerate into top speed runs within minutes and I swore off attending. This was an excellent display of mature car enthusiasts. Well done to all the prizewinners; very good choices all round. Lucky buggers... Hope everyone got home safe, with no fines and hopefully no injuries in the rolled car that I saw on the way back home.
  13. It's dry at my place...
  14. Gonna be getting up early for a wash tomorrow; too many wines this arvo. And tonight... See you tomorrow Stageas!
  15. Bring me free AWESOME!
  16. Hey Ryan, Ok, we've established that the Whiteline rear bar is 50mm narrower than the factory Auto rear Sway Bar. This means that the Link rods operate on a bit of an angle; as they have to pull in 25mm on each side. People have fitted them; and run them with no issue; but they are not 100% factory fit. I have offered a solution of a 10 or 15mm billet spacer to minimise the misalignment; but it's really up to the individual as to what you want to do. I don't want to force the issue and then have people unsatisfied with the end result, so I'll suggest that you PM me and I'll send you some pics that illustrate the link alignment. Cheers, Dale.
  17. Hey Toan, PM sent.
  18. Awesome Nick; have the route mapped in my GPS already; even though I know all the roads ... Pub does DAMN fine food; spent many a lazy Sunday arvo there.
  19. Enjoy the drive down; watch out for Police. Catch you on Sunday.
  20. Don't forget; daylight savings kicks in on Saturday night. Clocks go forward one hour.

  22. Wow! That's an amazing end result when you see how it started out. You must've been as pleased as punch.
  23. You should be able to get a set of plain rotors slotted for around $60ish; I'm pretty sure that's what I was quoted a while ago.
  24. Nothing dude; just having a stir. Resuming normal service.
